Deep in the void, a lifeless planet is slowly rotating.

That's Solemnace.

The Lair of the Trazyn the Infinite, the greatest museum of the Necrons, and one of the most dangerous places in the entire Milky Way.

Its surface is covered with a dark green metallic sheen, the unique luster of Living Metal, which has never faded in 65 million years.

There are no satellites, no asteroid belts, and no natural barriers around it, only endless void and occasional cosmic dust.

But anyone who dares to approach knows that the planet itself is a fortress.

Trazyn spent 60 million years fortifying it, 60 million years setting up defenses, and 60 million years building it into an indestructible fortress.

At this moment, the owner of this fortress stood at the deepest part of his museum, gazing at the approaching blue-gold ocean on the monitor screen, his fingers trembling slightly.

"Two and a half million..." His voice was hoarse, "He's gone mad...he's really gone mad..."

Fabius, standing behind him, was deathly pale. "Run. You can still run."

Trazyn shook his head.

He can't escape.

The reason Guilliman was able to escape last time was because he wasn't prepared, because he caught his opponent off guard, and because of luck.

This time, the Son of War has arrived with 2.5 million Avengers, and he will not give him any more chances.

"I'm not running anymore." Trazyn's voice suddenly calmed down. "Let him come. Let him see what real Necron Technology is."

He pressed the communication button, and his voice echoed across the entire planet, "All units, enter maximum combat readiness. Activate all defense systems and awaken all sleeping warriors. Today, we will show these mortals what 65 million years of accumulated strength truly means."

Guilliman stood on the flagship's bridge, gazing at the ever-approaching, eerie green planet.

Behind him stood 2.5 million Ultramarines.

They traveled on tens of thousands of warships, densely covering the entire void.

The lights from the warships' engines converged, resembling a burning sea of stars.

"My lord," Titus approached him, "The reconnaissance report is in. There are 3,700 defensive platforms around Solemnace, each equipped with super-heavy Phase Weapons. There are at least two million Necron Warriors on the planet's surface, along with an unknown number of heavy units."

Guilliman didn't turn around. "That's all?"

Titus paused, then added, "There's also an energy shield covering the entire planet. Analysis suggests that shield is strong enough to withstand bombardment from planetary weapons."

"That's all?" Guilliman asked again.

Titus paused for a moment, then a slight smile appeared on his lips, "That's all."

Guilliman smiled too.

That smile was cold, like the frost of winter.

"Then what are we waiting for? Attack!"

The moment the order was given, the entire fleet opened fire simultaneously.

The main cannons of tens of thousands of warships spewed out destructive energy beams, the intensity of which caused the void to fade.

The energy beam converged into a torrent, slamming violently into Solemnace's shield.

The shield trembled violently, its eerie green light flashing wildly.

It lasted for a full three seconds.

Then it broke.

Like glass, it shattered inch by inch.

The fragments drifted in the void, turning into countless tiny specks of light, like a green rain.

The Necrons's most powerful shield collapsed completely under a single volley of fire.

Trazyn stared at the monitor screen, his face ashen. He had forgotten that the firepower of these humans was no longer at the level of ten thousand years ago.

Each warship's main gun was powerful enough to shatter a planet.

Tens of thousands of ships firing simultaneously—not even a star could withstand that, let alone shields.

"Second line of defense!" his voice urgent. "Activate all defense platforms!"

Three thousand seven hundred defense platforms opened fire simultaneously.

A beam of eerie green phase energy intertwined to form a web of death, enveloping the human fleet.

But those warships did not dodge.

They simply continued forward, letting the energy beams fall on the shield.

Those Phase Weapons, powerful enough to penetrate any armor, only stirred up ripples on the warship's shields.

That's all.

Titus stood on the bridge, watching the defensive platforms firing wildly, and shook his head slightly. "Too weak."

"All ships, listen to my command." His voice was calm. "Free fire. Leave no one alive."

The main guns of tens of thousands of warships were recharged, and this time, they were not aimed at the shields, but at the defensive platforms.

A volley of shots.

Three thousand seven hundred defense platforms exploded simultaneously.

The scene was breathtakingly spectacular—eerie green fireballs bloomed in the void, merging together like a burning necklace.

Trazyn's fingers stopped trembling.

A strange expression appeared on his face.

That was the expression he had when he first saw the C'tan 65 million years ago.

despair.

Guilliman stood on the bridge, gazing at the wreckage of the falling defense platforms, and nodded slightly.

The hangar doors of the Macragge's Honour slowly opened.

Titus was the first to charge out, his Power Armour burning with blue flames in the void, followed by 250,000 Ultramarines, like a blue meteor shower, pouring down on the surface of Solemnace.

On the ground, the Necrons army stood ready.

Two million Necron Warriors stood in neat square formations, their weapons charged, their aiming systems locked, and their core processors calculating the optimal firing angles.

The commander stood at the very front of the formation; he was a Necron Overlord, an ancient warrior who had experienced the War in Heaven.

His voice was cold and calm. "Aim. Predict the trajectory. Fire."

Two million phase energy beams were simultaneously shot into the sky.

The firepower was so intense that it could tear through any armor, vaporize any life, and reduce any enemy to nothingness.

The energy beam struck the blue figures.

Then--

They passed through them.

Those Ultramarines were too fast; the Necrons's aiming system simply couldn't lock onto them.

Their figures left afterimages in the void, and the energy beams could only hit the locations they had already left.

The commander's expression changed.

If the Necrons had expressions.

"Change formation! Prepare for close combat!"

But it was too late.

Titus was the first to land.

His feet slammed into the ground, and the shockwave spread outwards from him, blasting dozens of Necron Warriors away.

Without pausing, he swept his Power Sword horizontally, and wherever the sword light passed, the Necrons's body was sliced in two as if it were made of paper.

"Kill!" His roar echoed across the battlefield.

Two hundred and fifty thousand Ultramarines landed simultaneously.

The scene was like 250,000 meteorites hitting the ground simultaneously; the entire Solemnace was trembling.

The blue figure collided with the eerie green torrent, the clanging of metal against metal creating a symphony of death.

An Ultramarines charged into the horde of Necrons.

His speed was so fast that the Necrons ' processors couldn't react in time.

With each swing of his Power Sword, three to five Necrons were cleaved into pieces.

He has no defense, because he doesn't need one.

The Necrons ' weapons couldn't even touch him.

He was like a dancer, gracefully moving across the battlefield.

Every move was precise and deadly, every shift was perfectly timed, and every sword strike took away several enemies.

Around him, fragments of the Necrons piled up like mountains.

A Necron Overlord tried to stop him.

Naha wielded a massive phase axe, his body enveloped in a ghostly green light—the unique luster of top-grade Living Metal.

It moves much faster than a normal Necrons, it is much stronger than a normal Necrons, and it has much more combat experience than a normal Necrons.

It stood in front of that Ultramarines.

The Ultramarines glanced at it.

Then, he disappeared.

The overlord frantically scanned its surroundings, trying to locate the enemy.

But its processor simply couldn't capture that speed.

The next second, it felt a chill on its chest.

Looking down, it saw a Power Sword thrusting out of its chest.

It tried to turn around, but its neck was already gripped by another hand.

Then, its head was removed.

The Ultramarines tossed the Overlord's head aside and continued his charge.

The whole process took less than three seconds.

On the other side, an Ultramarines was surrounded by dozens of Necron Warriors.

They fired simultaneously, and beams of phase energy shot in from all directions.

He didn't dodge; instead, he stretched out his hand and conjured a blue energy shield in front of him.

The energy beams struck the shield like raindrops falling on a lake, creating only ripples.

He laughed, and then the shield suddenly expanded.

The shockwave blasted all the Necrons around them away, and before they even landed, they were all destroyed one by one by the blue figure.

One sword, one kill.

One sword, one kill.
