Just as the man began tearing at the woman's clothes, two scarlet lights suddenly lit up deep within the dim alley.

A suppressed growl instantly froze the man and woman in place.
"Who! Who's there? Haven't you ever seen anyone do—" Before the man could finish, the owner of those scarlet eyes stepped out of the darkness.
Dark purple scales covered its entire body, gleaming with a metallic chill beneath the moonlight. Its back rose like twisted mountains, and its forelimbs bore sickle-like bone blades.

The Mutated Beast slowly advanced toward the man and woman.
The two were utterly terrified. Fear instinctively stiffened their bodies, leaving them unable to move a single step.

The low growl tore through the night sky.
"Ah!" The woman in thick-rimmed glasses let out a shriek of terror. She instinctively reached for the man beside her, only for him to shove her away violently.
She immediately lost her balance and fell to the ground.
