Preparing to Earn Primogems

Furina's cheeks seemed to puff up, and she began glaring fiercely at Wu Wanghai.

This guy really is making fun of me, isn't he?!

Damn it, I worked up so much courage to complain to him.

Seeing Furina stare at him silently, Wu Wanghai thought for a moment and immediately understood what was going on.

Furina thought he was laughing at her, but he wasn't. He had merely done his duty as the straight man.

"But doesn't my Heavy Bunny have an invincible trait? The protective water bubble. It can't ram anyone to death," Wu Wanghai said.

"Exactly! A water bubble appeared around that person, and he wasn't hurt," Furina said. Feeling even more aggrieved, she added, "Who would've thought that the moment he came out of the bubble, he started cursing at me. He even said he couldn't swim and that the bubble had nearly sent him to his death."

"How novel," Wu Wanghai said, spreading his hands.

"The worst part was, fine, he cursed at me. I was indeed at fault first... But I never expected him to actually attack me. If your Heavy Bunny hadn't blocked his attack, the consequences would've been unimaginable," Furina said, fear lingering in her heart.

"Seriously... He saw Fontaine's god and still dared to attack you? Did he have a death wish?" Wu Wanghai was genuinely shocked. That guy had far too much nerve. How could he be in Fontaine and not recognize Fontaine's Hydro Archon?

Hearing Wu Wanghai say that, Furina suddenly came to her senses. She was a god, after all. She had nearly exposed the fact that she was afraid of a mere human.

Furina hurriedly put her hands on her hips with great dignity. "That's right, that's right! This god had already forgiven his disrespect toward a deity. Who would've thought he would actually dare raise a hand against a god! If your Heavy Bunny hadn't stopped him, he would've gone straight to prison! The consequences would've been unimaginable!"

"Exactly!" Wu Wanghai nodded, then asked, "And then?"

"There was no then. I came to find you!" Furina hurriedly ended the topic. After all, she had fled in embarrassment on Heavy Bunny afterward. How could she possibly tell him that?

Wu Wanghai summoned Heavy Bunny, climbed onto it, and said indignantly, "Where is he? Tell me, and I'll avenge you!"

"Oh, no need, no need!" Furina hurriedly grabbed Wu Wanghai, not wanting him to keep dwelling on it.

"Let's go back and have something to eat. I just got back, and I'm a little hungry," Furina said.

"Then, Fufu, don't take this matter to heart. You can drive without worry from now on. Anyone Heavy Bunny rams won't die anyway... You're Fontaine's Hydro Archon! No matter who you ram, nobody would say anything."

Furina said weakly, "Wouldn't that be bad...?"

Wu Wanghai looked at Furina. She really was a good god. Even when someone got rammed and suffered no injury at all, she still felt bad about it.

After thinking it over, Furina still refused to drive herself. She got too nervous behind the wheel and didn't have the courage to go that fast. "It's better if you take me along!"

Fine, it seemed Furina no longer wanted to be a biker girl.

If Furina wasn't going to ram people, then he would do the ramming!

This was great. There was absolutely no risk involved. He could drive with his eyes closed.

After having afternoon tea with Furina, Wu Wanghai asked whether she wanted to go do commissions with him.

Furina shook her head, saying she wanted to go home and rest, and told him to go fight by himself.

"Alright, then see you next time. I'll probably be out until evening, then I'll head home to rest too." Wu Wanghai nodded and told Furina his plans.

"Okay!" Furina said as she headed toward Palais Mermonia.

Once Furina had gone far away, Wu Wanghai teleported directly to a Teleport Waypoint near the commission target.

Standing beside the Teleport Waypoint, Wu Wanghai thought about how he and Furina had just said goodbye. If either of them needed something, how were they supposed to contact each other?

Furina was only a secondary user of the phone, not someone with a second phone of her own. Contacting each other was rather troublesome.

"I think Furina should get a phone duplicate too. What do you think?" Wu Wanghai said to his phone, hoping to hear another two buzzing sounds.

He waited for a long time, but nothing unlocked. Had he been overthinking it after all? Maybe he really could only have this one phone.

"Toward the stars...""Thank you..."

"Toward...""Thank..."

By the time Wu Wanghai had completed commissions until past ten at night, Catherine, who was still standing behind the Adventurers' Guild counter, finally changed her line after seeing him come to claim another four commissions. "I'm sorry, but I no longer have any combat commissions available for you to accept."

"You may choose other types of commissions. There are also many commissions with very generous rewards~" Catherine brought out the other tasks.

"Huh?" Wu Wanghai was confused. He had never thought about it before; he had simply accepted commissions and completed them.

Who would've thought that although it was great that he could keep accepting commissions here, the number of them was actually rather limited.

"Do you have any easier tasks?" Wu Wanghai asked.

Catherine said, "There are search commissions, crafting commissions..."

"Forget it. I'm an adventurer who specializes in combat commissions. If there are any new monsters, remember to contact me." Hearing Catherine list so many tasks that sounded troublesome, Wu Wanghai got a headache.

Combat commissions only gave Mora, but those other tasks were both troublesome and didn't give Primogems. He couldn't be bothered to do them.

They could just wait for some warmhearted blond guy to help them in the future.

Thus, Wu Wanghai went home to sleep.

The next day, Wu Wanghai looked at the strawberries and lemons, which were halfway through their growth.

Then, Wu Wanghai began preparing to earn Primogems.

First, he went into the streets and bought many varieties of tea leaves. Then he ordered some disposable cups.

That's right, Wu Wanghai's idea was to sell fruit tea himself.

After all, his pulls gave him spirit fields and fruit. It would be a waste not to make use of them.

Fruit tea that accepted no Mora and only Primogems would definitely sell incredibly well!

Even children could just pick up a few of those shiny stones and get several cups to drink. They'd be making a killing, and he'd be making an even bigger killing!

Besides, Wu Wanghai wouldn't be doing this for long. He only needed to harvest a round of Primogems from everyone in Fontaine before leaving.

If he had to keep doing this forever, he wouldn't have the patience for it.

Unless it became a smash hit and everyone wanted to drink it. Then perhaps he would consider hiring someone to help.

But how could that possibly happen...

"Hmm, I should buy some sugar cubes too... Then I'll need some ice as well." Wu Wanghai ran back and forth through the streets, purchasing supplies.

"What else do I need?" Wu Wanghai pondered.

As for water for the fruit tea, he had a Hydro Vision. The water spat out by his summons should be usable, right? That could count as truly pure water!

Wu Wanghai wasn't entirely sure, so he decided to ask Furina...
