"Pfft~" Wu Wanghai could not help laughing out loud.

In Teyvat, that statement was probably still meant in a broad sense. But back in Wu Wanghai's hometown, having a wife and being a dog were not mutually exclusive at all.

"What are you laughing at?" Furina, who had been watching Wu Wanghai the whole time, immediately noticed his reaction. With anger in her heart, she gritted her teeth and asked, "How do you intend to explain that, Mr. Wu Wanghai?!"

Early in the morning, the streets throughout Fontaine were bustling and noisy. Almost everyone was discussing what had happened yesterday.

In a somewhat remote and deserted spot, a white-haired girl with mismatched eyes, wearing a top hat and sporting a huge ahoge, cautiously looked around.

Then she raised her head and looked down at the black-haired youth crouching as he sneaked along. "Little Black, keep up."

"Yes, Mistress Furina!" Wu Wanghai immediately replied.

You asked what was going on now? Wu Wanghai recalled yesterday.

The trial had ended with a cry of "Seal, shut up!" The leading lady, Furina, had fled in a flash with Clorinde.

After Neuvillette announced the end of the session, everyone quickly left, eager to share what they had seen and heard with friends and relatives who had failed to squeeze into the Opera Epiclese.

The plaza outside the opera house was also packed with people at the time, waiting for the result from within.

Wu Wanghai watched Furina leave, while Neuvillette above vanished as soon as he finished speaking.

"Haha! I'm free again!" Wu Wanghai turned around cheerfully and saw a pink-haired girl wearing a hat.

The pink-haired girl saw Wu Wanghai turn to face her and instantly smiled with narrowed eyes. "Hello, I'm a reporter from The Steambird. My name is Charlotte. Do you have time for a special interview?"

"Wow! Hello, Charlotte! I know you~" Come to think of it, Charlotte was the first Fontainian to have closely interacted with them Travelers. Though that had been during an event.

"Hehe, is that so? I never expected..." Charlotte was just about to respond politely.

A swift figure crackling with lightning appeared beside Wu Wanghai. With a sweep of her leg, she threw him off balance, then effortlessly tucked the bewildered Wu Wanghai beneath her arm with a bend of her arm.

The figure then quickly walked away. As she passed Charlotte, she briefly glanced at her.

Watching her target gradually disappear, Charlotte had no choice. After all, the other person was Clorinde. "Oh dear, this is troublesome. I'll have to find another chance."

Inside the Opera Epiclese, in a relatively hidden rehearsal room, Furina sat upon a tall red throne prop, yellow light shining on her from the side.

Furina supported her head with her right hand, her left leg crossed over her right, as she looked at Wu Wanghai, whom Clorinde had brought back.

"Now then, it is time for the two of us to be alone."

After bringing him here, Clorinde followed Furina's signal with her eyes, placed her right hand over her chest, and retreated behind the door, closing it.

Furina's words pulled Wu Wanghai back from recalling the feeling of his body being pressed against something very, very, very large. Though his posture had been humiliating in the eyes of others, Wu Wanghai still found himself wanting more.

Looking at Furina, who had struck a dignified pose in preparation for questioning him, Wu Wanghai became a little embarrassed after the fact. "Heh, hehe," he replied evasively.
