First Arrival in Inazuma

"Ah, you're here, Traveler." Kamisato Ayaka, who had been practicing calligraphy, rose to greet him.

This was their second formal meeting. The girl looked him over and saw that he carried nothing but a backpack on his back.

"Traveler, where are the things you prepared?" Kamisato Ayaka asked curiously.

"Oh, that's easy." Lin Yiyi opened his phone and took out all the packages inside.

"Eh?!" The girl seemed never to have seen such a strange sight before. Staring at the several bags on the ground, she froze for a moment.

"There's food, drinks, and things to sell in here. I brought them for the festival," Lin Yiyi said as he opened a bag containing packaged raw meat. "We can use these to set up a little food stall when the time comes."

"These drinks can be poured into these paper cups for people to drink."

Listening to Lin Yiyi's explanation, Kamisato Ayaka said awkwardly, "Amakane Island doesn't seem to be that big."

Most of the time, stalls large and small gathered on Amakane Island to celebrate the annual festival.

Lin Yiyi tilted his head, then asked, "We're still using that tiny Amakane Island?"

"From the sound of it, Traveler, do you have a better place in mind?"

Watching the two men approach from behind Kamisato Ayaka, Lin Yiyi nodded.

"I plan to turn all of Inazuma City into the festival grounds."

Upon hearing that, Kamisato Ayato showed a trace of approval. "It's a good idea, but Inazuma City covers a vast area. The preparations will become extremely difficult."

"And the Yashiro Commission has always been chiefly responsible for festivals. If you need it, the Yashiro Commission will do everything in its power to assist you."

"After all, this is an important matter. There can't be the slightest mistake."

The other man, Thoma, also said, "That's right. It's a very novel idea, though it really will be difficult to pull off within Inazuma City."

"Traveler, just say the word if you need any help!"

Lin Yiyi had merely thrown out an idea, yet the Kamisato Clan immediately stated their position without hesitation. It was clear that they placed great trust in him.

As for Kamisato Ayaka, the other two had already taken over the conversation. She could only watch the two elders and her friend from another world talk animatedly as they planned the festival.

The girl smiled faintly. The Traveler really had so many ideas.

"On top of entertainment for the public, we can set up food stalls to solve people's meal needs."

Lin Yiyi explained, "We could also build a stage and let everyone perform freely on it, among other things."

"Just consider it as a suggestion."

Then, Lin Yiyi selected and described some of the various activities he had seen at conventions, making everyone's eyes light up.

The boy casually tossed his backpack onto the floor of the Kamisato Clan residence and strode away.

After Kamisato Ayaka picked it up for him, she said with a smile, "Sure enough, whether it's the Traveler in the game or the real person behind her, both are eager to help others."

Kamisato Estate was quite far from Inazuma City, and Lin Yiyi was not foolish enough to walk all the way there.

He opened the Teyvat app, tapped the world map, selected a waypoint, and teleported!

The principle behind teleport waypoints was instant movement through the ley lines. Lin Yiyi only felt darkness before his eyes, as though he were rapidly passing through some underground tunnel while gusts of wind continually whipped across his face.

Before Tenshukaku, a woman with long purple hair was looking out over Inazuma City below.

Suddenly, the teleport waypoint beside her flashed with light, and a figure appeared before her.

She was startled. Aside from the Traveler, no one else could use teleport waypoints. Even Vision bearers would have to pay a corresponding price after using one.

"Ah, Ei. It's rare to see you out in Inazuma City."

Lin Yiyi dusted himself off. "I'm going into the city to prepare for the festival. Want to come along?"

But the god merely looked at him and asked, "This unfamiliar traveler knows of this body's inner self?"

Only then did Lin Yiyi turn around. "Ah, you're the Raiden Shogun."

"Ei didn't mention me to you?"

Raiden Ei and the Raiden Shogun were two different people. Ei had previously created Kunikuzushi, but because he could cry and possessed emotions, he did not fit her view of a god. Thus, she discarded him and created a second puppet: the Raiden Shogun.

As for Kunikuzushi, after many twists and turns, he had also been put through the wringer by the Fatui for a while. However, he had now turned over a new leaf.

"This body's inner self did indeed disappear for a time. Upon returning, she described her experiences in another world, as well as the new friend she had met there."

"I suppose that was you?"

Then she crossed her arms and said, "Those who trespass into Inazuma deserve to be slain. But since you are a friend of the inner self, this body shall spare your discourtesy for now."

"Go do what you must. Should you commit an offense, this body shall also become lightning."

In Teyvat, only the Traveler could use teleport waypoints. Thus, when the waypoint before the Raiden Shogun lit up, she subconsciously assumed that this person was the Traveler and did not immediately eliminate this unknown factor.

It was only when Lin Yiyi mentioned Ei that she confirmed this unfamiliar person might be a friend from another world whom her inner self had met.

The cold voice made Lin Yiyi certain that they really were two different people. At the same time, he greatly admired Teacher Ju's outstanding voice acting.

After bidding farewell, the boy followed the wooden bridge into the city.

Though he had visited Inazuma more than once, experiencing it in person gave it an entirely different flavor.

Sakura trees could be seen everywhere, like pink clouds on the horizon. Petals drifted down like snowflakes, and waves of fragrance filled the air, refreshing the heart and mind.

People on the streets shouted noisily as though playing a symphony of life. The owner of Ogura Textiles and Kimonos warmly greeted customers, while the Shogunate soldiers from the Commission marched in neat formation—none of this was something Lin Yiyi could truly experience in the game.

The scene before his eyes was like a dazzling, colorful painting, and the impact left him utterly speechless.

Further down were the Adventurers' Guild and Shimura's, followed by the Amenoma Fifteen Forge.

Further down still was Naganohara Fireworks, where Lin Yiyi noticed a fiery red-haired girl carrying a large box.

"Eh? It's you! I heard you're the Traveler? Is that true?"

"Haha, after Ayaka and the others finished discussing things, we all went off to get busy."

"This festival's fireworks are still being handled by our Naganohara shop. A festival means celebrating with fireworks, of course!"

"Fireworks are so much fun! Does your world have fireworks too? Are they just as brilliant?"

"Welcome to Inazuma! My fireworks will definitely leave a great impression on you!"

After Naganohara Yoimiya spotted Lin Yiyi, she quickly set aside her work and greeted him enthusiastically.

"They're okay, but setting them off has already been banned. They say it might cause fires." Lin Yiyi sighed.

"What? Fireworks are set off in the sky. How could they possibly start a fire..." Yoimiya muttered, then returned to her work. "I'll get back to it first! Come find me if you need anything! Especially fireworks!"
