Hermione's Terrible Misfortune
Oren explained, "It wasn't the mastermind who wanted to kill you, it was me who wanted to kill you. Pshaw, it was just an accident, Harry. You know me, I didn't really want to kill you."
"Right," Harry nodded. "How could you possibly want to kill me? Wait... don't you really want to?"
"Ahem," Hermione interrupted, "Harry, Ron, you should wipe the lipstick off your faces first."
Ron snapped out of his daze. "This is Phoebe thanking us for saving his sister."
Oren nodded. "I have to say, this lipstick is really good quality."
The three little ones...
Oren was right; Harry's performance ultimately earned him a score of forty-five.
Harry looked at the scratches on his body and whispered, "Where's Sirius Black? How is he?"
Oren has been taken to the Hospital Wing; he's been given emergency treatment for excessive blood loss.
"I'll have to drink Snape's Potions too; I'm going to suffer terribly."
Ron suggested, "Doesn't Oren also brew Potions? Could he make Sirius Black suffer less?"
Hermione rolled her eyes. "Ron, forget about it. Let Oren suffer. Sirius Black will suffer more."
Oren...
The morning after the match, Oren and the three little ones were in a deserted courtyard.
Oren fiddled with the Imperial Jade Seal (from last week) that he had received from the sign-in event this morning.
Harry asked curiously, "What is this? An antique?"
"Yes!" Oren nodded. "Last week."
Ron, his expression grave, handed over a magazine, saying, "You should take a look at this. Seriously, Hermione, you shouldn't have offended Rita Skeeter at Hogsmeade that day."
Oren snatched the magazine away, saying, "Isn't this a fashion magazine? Ron, have you really fallen this low?"
Ron rolled his eyes. "I just grabbed it from a lower-grade student."
Harry scoffed, "Stealing kids' books? Ron, you should be Prefect!"
Ron...
"Let me see," Oren gasped. "I don't understand. I clearly hung all the Krum's goods on the ceiling, how can they be related to Hermione?"
Hermione peeked at the magazine and instantly turned red with anger, taking a while to catch her breath.
"Oren, you beat up Krum? And Rita Skeeter into a magazine?"
"So what, Hermione? It was Krum who got beaten up, and Durmstrang is the one who lost face."
Ron reminded him, "You've hung Beauxbatons ' men on the ceiling too."
Harry shook his head. "It's nothing, it's Beauxbatons ' men who are missing."
Hermione...
Are you sure this won't cause trouble for Headmaster Dumbledore?
"What are you talking about?" Orion waved the Imperial Seal (from last week). "It's good that I didn't kill him on the spot. Even if I died on the spot, Principal Dumbledore would still have to put the word benevolence on my temple name."
The three little ones...
An owl flew into the yard and delivered a letter to Hermione, followed by one owl after another.
Oren asked in confusion, "Hermione, which store did you go to to buy these?"
"What purchase? I didn't buy anything!" Hermione skillfully dodged the swarm of owls.
After Mige's special training, these owl bombers were somewhat outmatched.
In no time, the small courtyard was full of packages.
Oren snatched the package from Hermione's hands and said, "Are you crazy?! You dared to open this?"
Summoning Kreacher, Oren ordered, "Go to the kitchen and bring two cannon fodder to open the package."
Before long, Kreacher pulled over the two least popular House-elf in the kitchen, Dobby and Winky.
Oren instructed, "You two go open the package."
"Dobby is a free House-elf; you can't treat him like a beast of burden," Hermione retorted.
Oren rolled his eyes and threw out a handful of Galleon. Kreacher pulled out a whip from somewhere, looking like he was being given a free ten-pull instead of working properly.
Hermione...
That laid-off, re-employment House-elf named Winky got infected on its second package.
"Hiss~ The pus from the Bubotuber!" Ron exclaimed. "Neville was drenched in this stuff."
Oren instructed, "Kreacher down these addresses, reply to them, and exact tenfold revenge!"
"Young Master, if we use the same address to reply to all the letters, people will get suspicious. We can use magic to track the addresses on these letters and use them to send retaliatory letters."
"That way we can retaliate even more severely; if something really goes wrong, it'll just be these people fighting like dogs."
Oren said with satisfaction, "Kreacher, you... you've graduated..."
The three little ones...
Hermione rolled her eyes and said softly to Dobby, "Let's take Winky to the Hospital Wing quickly."
Oren curled his lip. "Free House-elf, tsk tsk tsk, the fate of the world is sealed, aren't they still just cattle and horses?"
Hermione...
Harry put down the magazine and asked, "How did Rita Skeeter know that Krum was near Hermione in the Library? Did she sneak into the castle?"
Ron said, "He must have sneaked in right after Filch."
"This isn't just following Filch's old tail, it's a slap in the face to Headmaster Dumbledore!" Oren slapped his thigh and said, "I'll make a few detectors later and definitely bring this bastard to justice."
For a while afterward, Hermione experienced Harry's annual ritual once again, and her reputation was ruined.
Oren and the three little ones left the Care of Magical Creatures class.
Ron kept complaining that even though everyone was supposed to have a Niffler to find coins, his Niffler was just busy digging holes.
"Do you think there's something wrong with that Niffler? If I had discovered it any later, it might have already dug up groundwater."
"Ahem," Oren interrupted, "There's nothing I can do, Ron, your Niffler is clearly from the Forbidden Forest."
Ron???
Oren patted Hermione on the shoulder again. "Don't be sad. So what if your reputation is ruined? Harry has experience with this, come and share your experience."
Harry, without batting an eye, said, "It might be a little awkward at first, but it gets better after a while."
Hermione glared at him and said, "Harry, do you even know what the third match is?!"
Harry's smile vanished. He trusted Oren to give him information; he'd been playing all these days, his little brain had given up thinking, and happiness had returned to his mind.
"Oren, do you know what the next game is?"
"The Maze," Oren rolled his eyes. "Will remembers, right? He's Hogwarts's designated construction contractor now."
"Let's go check out the maze," Harry suggested.
In the end, only Ron went with him to see the maze.
Oren quipped, "What's so interesting about that? Hagrid will definitely dump a whole crate of Blast-Ended Skrewt in the maze."
Hermione: "I'm going to the Library to see if there's any law that can punish Rita Skeeter."
Oren...
"Busy, everyone's busy, being busy is good~"
That evening, Oren returned to the Gryffindor Tower, where the three children, who had been waiting for him, hurriedly asked.
Hermione said, "Oren, where are you going? Do you know Mr. Crouch has been attacked?"
"Of course I know, Headmaster Dumbledore even called me to a meeting."
Harry hurriedly asked, "I informed Headmaster Dumbledore, and after Mr. Crouch was attacked, he kicked me out. Is Mr. Crouch alright? Is he badly injured?"
Oren shook his head. "It's alright, not serious."
