Bullfrog Set Meal
Inside the Great Hall.
Ron asked in confusion, "What kind of dish is this today? I don't understand it."
"Is this a frog?" Harry asked with a strange look.
"Bullfrog" Oren shrugged. "That's Headmaster Dumbledore's fault. His wicked experiments killed a lot of toads; the pile of corpses is higher than the Ginny killed."
"By the way, the place where those toad carcasses were dumped is the same place where the rooster carcasses were piled up back then."
Ginny put down her knife and fork, feeling a throbbing pain in her wrist. She had only one thought: Oh no, she'd developed lasting health problems.
"Thanks to my suggestion, the principal changed the toad to a bullfrog, so the students could consume it."
Harry said, "Can we change it back to a toad? I really don't want to eat this bullfrog."
Oren: "Impossible. Changing from toad to frog is a new school rule at Hogwarts, and it can't be changed in the slightest."
Ron took a bite of the spicy bullfrog and said, "It's alright, I guess. By the way, Hermione, why aren't you saying anything?"
Hermione rolled her eyes, which was her response to Ron.
Oren, resting his chin on his hand, analyzed, "There's only one truth. Since she can't speak, she must be starting to learn from the Animagus, right? Is she holding Mandrake leaf in her mouth?"
Hermione rolled her eyes again, as a response to Oren.
Harry: "Ron, how about we learn to be Animagus too?"
Watching Hermione sip her porridge through a straw, Ron shook his head and said, "No way, can you stand it when others eat meat and you drink porridge?"
Harry: "Ugh... I really can't take it anymore."
Oren struggled to suppress a wicked grin, summoned Kreacher, and instructed, "Miss Granger has a poor appetite today. Go and prepare a special meal for her, something a little extravagant."
Five minutes later~
Hermione stared at the pile of food in front of her, torn. Should she just take a bite? She'd have to be careful; she shouldn't swallow Mandrake, would she?
Hermione picked up a small cake, took a careful bite, and then blushed deeply.
Ron exclaimed in surprise, "You had Kreacher put chili peppers in the cupcakes?"
Harry: "Oren, you're so mean!"
"How can you slander me? Who puts chili peppers in their cupcakes? I'm not that bad," Oren whispered again, "Not at the moment."
Two little ones...
"What's wrong with her?" Harry shifted his chair, moving away from the distraught Hermione.
"I guess she swallowed the Mandrake," Oren nodded (sure).
Hermione clutched her head and wailed, "This herb is supposed to be held in your mouth for a month! I swallowed it on the first day!"
Ron pursed his lips. "Since things have come to this, let's eat first."
Hermione quickly channeled her grief and anger into her appetite, and began to devour the food in front of her.
Oren added, "Eat up, eat up, every meal we eat is one less we can have."
Hermione...
Ron wiped his mouth. "Let's go, let's go to Defense Against the Dark Arts."
Harry: "Hopefully, Umbridge won't cause me any trouble."
Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Umbridge Ababa talked for a while, and Oren felt something was strangely familiar about it, until she gave the young wizard a Defensive Magical Theory and asked him to read it carefully.
After flipping through a couple of pages and tentatively leaning on the table, Oren slapped his thigh and realized he was right.
He immediately started sleeping on the table, while Harry and Ron, those two stubborn kids, were already arguing with Umbridge because they had no practical experience to share.
Oren said, "Hermione, I thought you'd be going up against Umbridge first."
Hermione: "Mmm~"
Oren...
After Harry and Umbridge argued about Voldemort, he received a deduction of ten points and was put in solitary confinement.
After class, the four of them started strolling around the castle. Harry complained, "That guy made me give Professor McGonagall a parchment with nothing but bad things written about me on it."
"Unfortunately, she never expected that Professor McGonagall wouldn't punish me; she would just throw me a note and make me eat Ginger Newts."
Oren suggested, "We should prepare a large wastebasket for Professor McGonagall."
Ron pointed to the hourglass of House Points and said, "Our Gryffindor scores are so low, it shouldn't be like this, it wasn't like this in previous years."
Hermione: "Waaaaah~"
Harry: "What is she saying?"
Oren, resting his chin on his hand, analyzed, "Let me give you a brief translation: she's saying you two idiots! Don't you remember who added points in previous years? All you do is deduct points! You two are just a bunch of money-losers!"
Two little ones???
Harry: "Oren, are you sure Hermione said that?"
Ron, looking at Hermione's menacing gestures, said, "You must have made that up."
"That's definitely the meaning. I'm not a professional translator; I'm already doing well if you can understand it."
Hermione almost wanted to swallow the second Mandrake and have a good argument with Oren.
Oren lamented, "Hermione's shutting up, she's going to fail her finals. We can only hope that Headmaster Dumbledore will pull something out of it to give her extra points."
The three little ones...
After his walk, Oren went to the Headmaster's Office to deal with tomorrow's food (the bullfrogs that died in the failed experiment).
As soon as the portal opened, waves crashed in. Oren dodged and weaved but didn't get a single drop of seawater on him. Dumbledore's tea-flavored syrup, however, turned into a sea salt flavor.
Stepping out of the portal, Oren found himself on a small boat, where he could still faintly hear Cedric Diggory boasting about how he faced the Killing Curse without flinching.
"Come on, Cedric Diggory," Oren retorted. "I heard from Harry that you were eliminated as soon as you hit the ground, without even knowing who did it."
Cedric Diggory...
"Hiss~" Oren exclaimed in surprise, "Who punched your handsome little face?"
Cedric Diggory: "Fall, fall, fall"
Will: "We're in the waters near Azkaban, just waiting for the young master to come and threaten—oh, I mean, persuade the Dementors."
Oren commanded, "Row to Azkaban quickly!"
The three hid behind a rock, Oren explained the battle plan, "When the patrolling Dementors come by, you two use this sack to trap them, and I'll handle the rest."
Cedric Diggory hesitated and said, "Putting a sack over Dementors's head... isn't that a bit too abstract?"
Oren curled his lip. "You're too young and easily fooled by appearances. This is an alchemical sack, specially designed to trap people."
Cedric Diggory...
"You haven't even gone to see Cho Chang yet? What? You've found a new girlfriend? Has the old one replaced the new?"
Cedric Diggory...
"I was going to go, but I tripped and fell."
"This little injury can be easily fixed with a spell, right?" Oren grinned mischievously. "I know, the spot where you fell was poisoned."
Cedric Diggory...
Will: "Young master, look! A Dementors is coming!"
"Good timing. You two get ready to put a sack over it, I'll lure it over."
Upon seeing Oren, the Dementors scurried over, and Merlin would probably guess how it managed to put on such a fawning expression on its face, which had only one hole in it.
Cedric Diggory???
Will!!!
Oren: "Looks like this Dementors has studied at Hogwarts, which makes things easier."
"Take this," Oren tossed out an alchemical artifact, "Whenever anyone comes to break out of Azkaban, press the button. Understand?"
Will and Cedric Diggory were speechless as they watched the Dementors frantically bowing and scraping.
Will: "Now that things are settled, young master, let's go back. This place is quite cold."
Oren pulled out his fishing rod. "Go back my ass! We're already here, let's cast a few lines before we leave."
Cedric Diggory...
Will...
