The Sharp-Tongued Sorting Hat
During the morning Herbology, Oren's Merciless Iron Hand officially met his nemesis.
Bubotuber are in serious trouble if they get even a little bit of sap splashed on them.
Fortunately, Ron, House-elf, is quite skilled at it, and he can easily complete the homework of several people by himself.
As for the Care of Magical Creatures, Hagrid somehow acquired a bunch of monsters called Blast-Ended Skrewt, which reeked of river mud.
Oren was so overwhelmed by the smell that he had to use the Bubble-Head Charm. As for raising that monstrous thing, Oren decided to make Ron suffer a little longer, since Hagrid would bear the blame anyway.
At noon, Oren and the three little ones sat at the Gryffindor table.
Oren asked in bewilderment, "How can you still eat? I feel like my robes are being infused with the stench of Blast-Ended Skrewt."
Hermione quickly finished criticizing a potato and said, "We have class this afternoon! This is our first Arithmancy of the semester!"
"What?" Oren said in surprise, "It's just a low-level course. I'm already being generous by choosing this course, okay? What kind of class is this that I have to take it myself?"
The three little ones...
Hermione: "I knew it!"
Harry quietly asked, "Oren, do you have some trick up your sleeve? You know Ron and I really don't want to go to Divination."
Hermione rolled her eyes at them, thinking to herself: If Avada Lightning Chain is considered a trick, then Oren is way too good at it.
Oren: "Uh... it's not that hard, Harry, as long as you're Headmaster Dumbledore's favorite student."
Harry, Ron??? You call this easy!?
After watching the three children leave for class, Oren returned to the Gryffindor Tower.
He produced a wizard's hat, very similar in style to the Sorting Hat, and with a series of swift and powerful moves, Oren's Sorting Hat turned out to be less than a tenth as good as the original.
Oren sighed and said, "As expected, that old man is quite something."
After tossing his hat in the common room, Oren returned to his dorm to continue his great undertaking of brewing aqua regia (scratch that, Wolfsbane Potion).
After class~
Ron: "Oren, you'd better go out and check..."
As soon as the two kids entered the dormitory, they saw Oren grinning evilly as he poured bottles of liquid into a crucible.
The crucible sometimes spewed out smoke, sometimes it emitted sparks of various colors, and every now and then it would burst out with a large number of bubbles.
Harry thought this must be what the old witch in fairy tales brewed for her potions.
"I'll go check it out right now." Oren took out a spoon and stirred it. When he took it out again, the part of the spoon that had touched the Potions had disappeared, making his two little eyelids twitch wildly.
Upon arriving at the common lounge, one can see that many of the lion cubs have tiny pearls hanging from the corners of their eyes.
"What's going on? Is the principal giving a lecture on gratitude?" Oren asked, puzzled.
Harry pointed to the hat that was surrounded by the crowd.
The hat then said to Neville, "So you want me to sort you into Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw?"
"The best house for you is the junkyard, the place where Muggle throw their trash."
Ron said unequivocally, "This must be Snape's conspiracy."
Oren, feeling guilty, touched his nose and said, "You're a brilliant detective, Ron."
Hermione walked over to the three of them and stared at Oren with a suspicious look.
Harry: "Hermione, you're back from the Library?"
Ron, "The Library has a lot more of those flying things now."
Hermione, "They're drones. Those things are nice, but Madam Pince seems a bit redundant."
"I remember Dumbledore put those drones away, didn't he?" Oren asked, puzzled.
"How would we know? Go ask Headmaster Dumbledore. Aren't you his favorite student?"
Oren...
"Let's go to the Great Hall instead," Hermione suggested.
Oren whispered to Hermione, "You two go first, I need to clean up this mess."
After saying that, he pointed to the hat with the sharp tongue.
Hermione rolled her eyes at Oren and said, "Hmph~ Just as I expected."
The solution to that hat is quite simple: just throw it in the Headmaster's Office. Headmaster Dumbledore will handle it; you have to trust his wisdom.
Oren was in his dorm room eating the homemade food that Kreacher had brought him.
The two little ones rushed into the dormitory, as happy as two scorpions that had just gotten a meat bone.
Oren asked in confusion, "Why are you all so happy?"
Ron: "Hahaha, Professor Moody turned Malfoy into a ferret!"
Harry, "It happened right there in the Great Hall, lots of people saw it, Malfoy really embarrassed himself!"
"Turns into a ferret?" Oren was so surprised he dropped his chopsticks. "You used Transfiguration, didn't you? Professor Moody, I get it now."
Two little ones!!!
That evening, Dumbledore, who had spent the day planting trees, returned to his loyal Headmaster's Office.
"Albus, it's a fake Sorting Hat."2
Dumbledore???
Where the Sorting Hat used to be, there are now two Sorting Hat.
Dumbledore rubbed his eyes in disbelief.
"Sorting Hat, which house do you think I should be sorted into?"
The True Sorting Hat: "You are a Gryffindor"
The fake Sorting Hat, "You should go to Nurmengard."
Dumbledore made his judgment at a glance, and even guessed who was behind it.
Early in the morning, Oren strode arrogantly into the Headmaster's Office.
"Principal, is there something you need from me?"
In the Headmaster's Office, only Grindelwald was reading a book, while Fawkes stared at him with wide, bird-like eyes.
"A revealing look at Advanced Dark Magic Revealed?" Oren scoffed. "That stuff's way out of date."
Grindelwald tossed a magazine at the reader and said, "The tabloids are done. We've given the Ministry of Magic a bit of trouble."
Oren flipped through the magazine and said, "The Quibbler? Never heard of that. Is the circulation high enough?"
Grindelwald said, "Don't worry, that enormous subsidy will allow Xenophilius Lovegood to print on Mars."
"Ha~ The author of the article isn't anonymous," Oren laughed. "Will Fore, that old guy is offering his allegiance to me."
"By the way, any news about the You-Know-Who lately? Maybe we should just take care of Voldemort ahead of time."
Grindelwald shrugged. "Albus and doesn't allow infiltration of the Ministry of Magic. My old subordinates are all planting trees, but they're quite satisfied with opening up a new world."
"By the way, kid, do you need me to keep an eye on Will and his gang? They're good at petty theft, but they might not be any good if they really run into Death Eaters."
Oren nodded and said, "Alright, give them a good workout, so they won't bother me with all this work."
Back in the common room, Oren was surprised to find that Hermione hadn't gone to the Library.
Oren: "What book is Hermione reading? She's even skipping the Library."
Hermione proudly waved the notebook in her hand, "This is Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration notes. She taught me a lot of things in private."
Harry rolled his eyes and retorted, "Fine, fine, one is Dumbledore's favorite student, one is Professor McGonagall's favorite student, and the rest of us are just stepchildren, okay?"
Oren: "In a sense, Harry, you are Professor Snape's favorite student."
Harry...
