The Golden-Winged Roc and Sun Wukong battled fiercely in the air for dozens of rounds, until:
His iron staff rose like a flying dragon; his claws seized sharp blades like a raging gale.
One was a Heaven-born stone monkey called the Great Sage; the other, a Golden-Winged Roc that could cross ten thousand miles in the clouds.
This time, they fought with ruthless determination, gritting their teeth until they nearly ground jade nails to dust.
After a long battle, the Golden-Winged Roc gradually found himself unable to hold on, struggling desperately as his feathers scattered.
Unable to contain his fury and anxiety, he let out a piercing howl:
"Big Brother! Second Brother! Come help me, now!"
Manjushri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, seated upon their lotus platforms, exchanged a glance.
This was the perfect chance to further test the limits of that "Buddha Child" incarnation.
With a flicker of thought, the two each sent a divine command to their mounts.
The next instant, a lion's roar shook the heavens from Manjushri Bodhisattva's sacred ground, while an elephant's trumpeting shook the earth beneath Samantabhadra Bodhisattva!
The Blue-Haired Lion and Six-Tusked White Elephant suddenly snapped their reins, rode surging demonic winds and black clouds, and charged together into Little Western Heaven!
Seeing that the newcomers meant trouble, Su Yuan shot Sun Wukong a look.
After being roommates with Su Yuan for more than a year, Sun Wukong already understood him perfectly. With just one glance from Su Yuan, he instantly got the message.
With a clever turn of his staff, he knocked Kasyapa—who had been watching in stunned silence—unconscious with a single blow.
Then, with a savage thrust, he sent him flying out of Little Western Heaven.
Facing the three demons charging at him side by side, Sun Wukong showed not the slightest fear and shouted sharply.
"Ha! Good! Just what I need to stretch my limbs!"
In a flash of golden light, he transformed and revealed the divine power of Three Heads and Six Arms. Wielding three iron staffs, he plunged into a bitter battle against the three demon kings. It was a truly murderous fight! Behold:
Three heads and six arms displayed divine might; iron staffs whirled like swimming dragons.
The blue lion roared and shook the mountains; the white elephant's trunk swept up a bloody gale.
The roc spread its wings and blotted out the sun; its icy claws tore through the sky.
Where four weapons collided, thunder boomed, lightning flashed, and sparks burst forth.
Here, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven flaunted his heroic courage.
There, the three demon kings revealed their savage visages.
Dust and smoke rose over Vulture Peak Pure Land; within Little Western Heaven, all was dark and unclear!
One of Sun Wukong's staffs held back the blue lion's Mountain-Splitting Yue, another deflected the white elephant's coiling trunk, while the third met the Golden-Winged Roc's razor claws head-on.
The three staffs spun so tightly that not even water could penetrate, whirling like windmills.
They drove the three demon kings into a fluster, their blood and qi churning as they secretly recoiled in shock:
"Who the hell is this guy? How does he possess such divine powers?"
Sun Wukong had not fought anyone for more than a year. Now that he had fully let loose, he was exhilarated beyond measure.
"Wonderful! Wonderful! Truly wonderful!"
"Now this has some kick! Come on! Let's go again!"
Inside the Great Thunderclap Temple, the water mirror's resolution was poor. Everyone could only see a mass of golden light chasing three demon kings across the sky.
Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Vajras all stared in dumbfounded silence.
"Is... is this right? Why is this Buddha Child so fierce and belligerent? Where is even a trace of compassion or serenity?"
Only Manjushri Bodhisattva's eyes shone brightly. Relying on his supreme wisdom, he began another "deep interpretation":
"Wonderful! The Buddha Child's courageous diligence and unstoppable advance perfectly embody our Buddha's spirit of 'subduing demons and defending the Way'! Without such Vajra wrath, how could he cow the hordes of heterodox evils? What a fine Fighting-Victorious Buddha Child!"
Whether they understood him or not, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas all put on looks of sudden enlightenment and repeatedly nodded in agreement.
"Excellent! Excellent! Manjushri Bodhisattva's wisdom is as vast as the sea. His words are absolutely correct! We were the ones clinging to appearances!"
"Refreshing! Truly refreshing!"
As the golden light fought more fiercely, it bent at the waist. Dharma power surged throughout its body, while the primal qi of heaven and earth rushed together. It was about to unleash a divine power.
"Divine power! Heaven-and-Earth Transformation!"
Seeing this, Su Yuan feared that Sun Wukong might expose his appearance and hurriedly sent him a voice transmission.
"Sun Wukong, take it easy. Don't beat all three of them to death!"
Hearing this, Sun Wukong in the golden light gave an unhappy snort.
He made a feint that scared the three demons into retreating again and again. Then he turned back into a streak of golden light and shot into Su Yuan's ear.
Once the smoke and dust in the field settled somewhat, only the blue lion, white elephant, and Golden-Winged Roc remained.
The blue lion crouched by the roadside with its tongue hanging out, panting heavily, while the white elephant swung its long trunk, still shaken.
The Golden-Winged Roc transformed into an eerie-looking young man.
His short golden hair stood straight up strand by strand. He wore a dazzling cloak of golden feathers, tight black trousers, and a pair of sharp golden hook boots.
[This is the Golden-Winged Roc? He's only one unlocked No. 9 electric scooter away from being a street-racer punk.]
Su Yuan could hardly bear to look at the Roc's outfit, but he had no choice but to go up and talk to him.
After all, he had taken ten million from the Roc Demon King. He had to get this done!
Before Su Yuan could speak, the Golden-Winged Roc shook one leg and raised a brow as he sized him up.
"You're pretty ruthless, bro! You really went hard on us!"
Grimacing, he flexed the arm that had been numbed by the blows.
"Tell me, who was it this time that couldn't stand me and hired you to beat me up? Now that you've finished, we're done, right?"
With that, he turned to leave with the blue lion and white elephant.
Su Yuan laughed. This Golden-Winged Roc was rather interesting.
A personality like his was much easier to deal with than Ananda and Kasyapa.
He directly pulled out a pack of Benefit the Group cigarettes, lit one for himself, and tossed one each to the three brothers.
"Don't go. Let's chat!"
The Roc was also the unruly sort, so he simply stopped.
The three brothers copied Su Yuan's manner. The four stood in a circle, puffing clouds of smoke.
"We came, we got beaten. What's there to chat about?"
The Roc ran both hands through his golden hair and asked, shaking his leg.
Su Yuan smiled. "I was asked to come see how you were doing. I heard you were cultivating quietly here?"
The Roc spat phlegm onto the ground without a shred of manners.
"Cultivating quietly, my ass! Isn't this just solitary confinement? I'm used to it."
The blue lion chimed in from the side in a muffled voice.
"Our third brother's sister is seriously terrifying. Last time, just because we took him down to the mortal world for drinks and women, damn, she straight-up..."
The blue lion made a gesture with his claw that every man understood.
Su Yuan's legs instantly clamped together.
"Shut up!"
The Roc's expression turned somewhat unnatural, yet he stubbornly insisted:
"My sister does it for my own good! What do you know?"
Listening to them bicker, Su Yuan chuckled inwardly. He took out the Cosmic Primordial-Qi Bag and was about to release the little Pengs.
But the Golden-Winged Roc suddenly shuddered.
"Wait, I think I can sense my sister's aura... Fuck, no way? Didn't she say she was going to preach scriptures in the Three Thousand Buddha Realms for sixty years?"
The blue lion and white elephant immediately grew nervous as well and looked around in all directions.
"No way, right? Don't scare us, Third Brother! It's only been a little over ten years!"
The Roc frantically stubbed out his cigarette and said to Su Yuan:
"So, uh, bro, let's call it here for today. We can talk later. I need to..."
Before he could finish, a Five-Colored Divine Light suddenly descended from the sky!
Su Yuan, the blue lion, and the white elephant all felt their vision go dark. By the time they came to their senses, they were already lying beside the unconscious Kasyapa.
At the same time, they could vaguely hear a cold woman's voice scolding nearby:
"Roc! What kind of shady riffraff have you brought here to cause trouble again? And you even learned to smoke this stuff!"
"Sis! Easy! My ear's going to fall off! Th-they really weren't brought here by me!"
"And you still dare argue! What's with these newly hatched Golden-Winged Little Pengs? Speak! Were you fooling around outside again and leaving behind bastard offspring?"
"I'm innocent, Sis! Didn't you put the Purity-Heart Spell on me? How could I possibly..."
"Shut up!"
"Sis, I was wrong! Don't hit my face..."
