Duke swept his gaze over the devastation of Black Oak Town and knew there was nothing worth searching for here.

He had no intention of taking part in the slaughter either. He directly ordered the slave creatures to turn around and head for the northern mining area.

Not long after Duke and Vivian led their troops out of town, Leonard, who had been overseeing the battle from higher ground, noticed their movements. He immediately took out a map to examine it.

"The northern mining area—Seaheart Iron?" A gleam flashed through Leonard's eyes. "Hmph, that territory belongs to our Silver Hand! Ella, forget these lowlifes. Let them clean themselves up! We'll follow them. We can't let those two monopolize the mining area's gains!"

"The mining area?" Ella was unfamiliar with the terrain here, and she had never liked looking at maps anyway. As long as she followed Leonard whenever something happened, there was no need to worry about anything else.

Leonard nodded. "North of Black Oak Town is a mining area with Magic Metal. There should be quite a few valuable things there. I heard from my teacher that it will belong to the Silver Hand in the future. Those two, Duke and Vivian, have already gone there. I didn't expect them not even to enter the town and search it first."

Just as Duke had expected, a small town like this did not have much to offer, aside from a small number of gold and silver coins and ordinary jewelry found in the homes of a few seemingly wealthy residents.

The only thing that could truly be called a gain was a box of First-Level Energy Crystals discovered in the basement of a residence, along with a tattered notebook recording the properties of local herbs.
