Background and History

As a child, Sasuke returns to Konoha to find the Uchiha compound destroyed, Shisui injured, and Itachi gone from the village. Fugaku asks Natsuki to take him as a disciple. Natsuki initially hesitates, but changes his view after watching Sasuke defend Naruto from bullying children without using the Fire Release he already knows 23 24 27.

Sasuke trains under Natsuki, Fugaku, and Itachi. His goal of surpassing Itachi intensifies after he sees both his father and brother suffer eye injuries. Even without his Sharingan, Itachi defeats him in a taijutsu duel, exposing how much Sasuke still needs to learn about technique and strategy 129 180 343.

The Uchiha Clan's planned relocation threatens to separate Sasuke from Naruto, his longtime friend and teammate. They continue to spar, but Naruto's greater chakra reserves and stamina increasingly outpace Sasuke's 458 527 628.

After Sasuke awakens the Mangekyō, Natsuki stages a spar against Shisui and Yōya to show him the danger of relying on Susanoo. They outclass him without using their own Mangekyō abilities, prompting Natsuki to redirect his training toward ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu fundamentals 727.

A future Sasuke later visits Natsuki's time-space with a Rinnegan; during that visit, he trains its absorption and Soul Extraction abilities 550 556.
