Seeing that Cersei had not directly agreed to his request for Morpheus's laboratory, Lynn spoke again.
"Then..." he began hesitantly.
"Could the contribution points on Morpheus's badge be transferred to me first? After all, they belonged to him. Now that he's dead and the badge is in my hands, according to the rules..."
That was Lynn's true objective. When he had obtained Morpheus's badge, he could have transferred the contribution points directly to himself.
But he had not done so. To show his respect for the academy's system, he had voluntarily handed over the badge and let the academy handle it.
As for whether Cersei would refuse...
Cersei glanced at him without speaking.
This request was not excessive. Lynn could have transferred the points himself without the academy's approval.
The fact that he had voluntarily handed it over and allowed the academy to decide was already a considerable show of respect.
Besides, she had just rejected Lynn's request for the laboratory. If she refused this as well, she would seem overly harsh.
She raised a hand, and Morpheus's badge flew into her palm as her spiritual power probed inside.
A moment later, a huge sum appeared on Lynn's badge.
"A total of one hundred and seventy-three thousand contribution points. Enough for you to squander for a while."
Feeling the number on his badge soar, Lynn finally showed a genuine smile. "Thank you, Mistress."
One hundred and seventy thousand contribution points was not much, amounting to less than twenty thousand magic stones.
However, ordinary Wizards rarely kept too many contribution points on their badges. They usually exchanged them for magic stones or materials.
There was no particular reason for it. Physical goods were simply safer.
Cersei did not respond and merely reminded him again:
"Don't cause trouble these next few days.
