The golden soul mist floated inside a specially made cultivation dish. As he continuously injected pure soul fragments into it, the mist slowly churned, and the dragon-shaped phantom at its center had become far more solid than when he had first obtained it.
According to Morpheus's notes, this was the second step in refining a Primary Soul—feeding it to its limit.
Once the Dragon Soul could no longer absorb any more soul energy, he could use a special method to forcibly break through that limit and complete the final step: the contract imprint.

He was focused on adjusting the energy output frequency of the cultivation dish when the Soul-Crystal Plaque at his waist suddenly gave a faint vibration.

Morpheus brought this upon himself and deserved his death. Let all Wizards take this as a warning and uphold the academy's rules together."
The wording was severe, and the conclusion was unmistakable.
Immediately afterward, the plaque lit up again—this time with a message sent directly to him:
"The review has concluded, and you have been confirmed free of responsibility. Your movement restrictions are hereby lifted. Your application for Morpheus's former laboratory has been approved. Please proceed to the steward's office to complete the handover."
