After analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of every clone spell, Lynn opened his eyes and activated all one hundred workstations.
He first brought up the data on every clone spell and broke them down into their most basic runes, energy circuits, and structural frameworks.
Soul-severing types, dismantle.
External-vessel types, dismantle.
Elemental-convergence types, dismantle.
Bloodline-splitting types, dismantle...
He listed the strengths and weaknesses of each spell one by one.
Soul-severing types: Strengths—precise control, strong growth potential. Weaknesses—required severing the soul.
External-vessel types: Strengths—safe, did not harm the main body. Weaknesses—clumsy, lacked growth potential.
Elemental-convergence types: Strengths—fast, disposable after use. Weaknesses—short-lived, could not endure.
Bloodline-splitting types: Strengths—had a bloodline connection and a long control range. Weaknesses—slow and too costly to sustain.
All one hundred workstations operated at once. It was as though a hundred top scholars were working simultaneously within Lynn's sea of consciousness.
Some dismantled runes, some drew blueprints, some simulated energy circuits, and some tested stability.
He began trying combinations.
He retained the framework of the external-vessel type, added the bloodline connection of the bloodline-splitting type, grafted on the energy-conversion circuit of the elemental-convergence type, then refined the control runes from the soul-severing type. He removed the soul-severing portion while retaining its control logic.
The first model was built within his sea of consciousness. It ran for three seconds before collapsing.
The energy circuits conflicted, and the vessel could not withstand them.
Dismantle it. Start over.
The second model ran for ten seconds before collapsing again.
The rune nesting was wrong. The three layers of runes interfered with one another.
Dismantle it. Start over.
The third model ran for a minute before the vessel began leaking energy.
Its seal was insufficient.
Dismantle it. Start over.
The fourth, the fifth, the sixth...
Lynn could not remember how many models he had
