The One-Ring Wizard did not head toward the pillar of light. Instead, he led Lynn in the opposite direction.
After walking for a quarter of an hour, he stopped in a clearing, took a black token from inside his robe, and raised it above his head.
The token emitted a black glow, stark against the dark red sky.
The light shot into the empty space ahead, slicing through it like a knife through cloth and tearing open a rift.
The rift grew larger and wider until it became an enormous black hole.
Its edges churned as though something were writhing inside.
Lynn studied the black hole curiously, a suspicion beginning to form in his mind.
"This is Lord Marcus's Stigmata Domain." The One-Ring Wizard put away the token and turned to Lynn, a trace of awe in his voice.
"Please enter."
So it really was a Stigmata Domain!
Facing the black hole, Lynn instinctively activated Analysis.

Lynn had only heard of them before. This was his first time seeing a real Stigmata Domain.
There was no light inside
