Lynn withdrew his hand and turned to look at the battlefield.

The undead army was clearing the battlefield, dragging the corpses together, extracting their souls, and saving the blood essence for the Godspawn.

The Godspawn stood amid the pile of corpses, covered in golden blood. Golden patterns flashed wildly across its body like a lightbulb about to burn out.

Its aura was surging, rising from high Disaster-tier to peak Disaster-tier, and it was still climbing.

Lynn watched it without stopping it.

After all, turning corpses into undead also required clearing the holy light elements from their bodies. What the Godspawn was doing merely lightened his workload.

Let it absorb. Let it absorb as much as it could.

The battle was over.

Lynn had the undead clean up the battlefield, store the paladins' and priests' corpses in the Undead Space, and pile the angels' corpses separately.

He inspected the sealed angels one by one, confirming that the Sealing was stable. Then he extracted their souls and stored them in the Undead Space alongside the Six-Winged Angel.

After clearing the battlefield, the army continued advancing. The outline of the Second Defensive Line grew clearer and clearer on the horizon, but Lynn did not continue forward.

His task was to sweep through the Third Defense Zone, not assault the Second Defensive Line.

He did not want to know how many Holy-Light Creatures, high-ranking angels, or Stigma-level beings lay behind those gray-black walls.

At least, not yet.

The undead army halted in the middle of the Third Defense Zone, like a black tide retreating to the shore.

Lynn had Megatron lead the Skeletal Ground Dragon clan on patrol to the east, while the Decepticons led the Wraiths in guarding the west. The Flame Demon and Frostbone Whale roamed the northern and southern ends.
