As one Stigma after another entered the hall and greeted Lynn, Victor also stepped out from the crowd.
He wore a dark gray robe without any decoration, and a gray badge hung at his waist.
That was the emblem of the War Affairs Department.
He walked up to Lynn and extended his hand.
"Lord Lynn, congratulations."
Lynn had not expected Victor to be at the academy today as well.
When he had chosen a mentor, he had nearly become Victor's apprentice and a war machine for his "Titan Skeleton" project.
Lynn shook his hand.
"Lord Victor, I didn't expect you to be at the academy either."
Victor released his hand.
"The War Affairs Department has been resting and reorganizing recently, so I came back to stay for a few days."
He looked at Lynn, his gaze filled with admiration.
"I heard about how you fought six Stigmas alone a few days ago. Among newly advanced Stigmas, you're the only one in the academy who has achieved something like that."
Lynn humbly shook his head.
"The other lords were simply going easy on me. Otherwise, I doubt I'd be standing here and chatting pleasantly with everyone."
Victor burst into laughter.
"Lord Lynn, you really are humble. So, are you interested in joining the War Affairs Department?"
"If you join the War Affairs Department, the academy's pace of planar exploration will increase tremendously. I'm short on manpower there, and the benefits will definitely be better than anywhere else."
Lynn considered it.
"I'll give it some thought."
