A dark red band of light extended down from the high dome of the teleportation hall, following the cracks in the stone walls.
It was a warning signal issued by the tower spirit before activating the defensive wizard array.
At the same time, to prevent Lynn from escaping or receiving outside support, the tower spirit forcibly shut down every teleportation array in the teleportation zone.
Several Wizards who were about to be teleported away were directly "bounced" back out. They could only turn around helplessly to see what was happening.
What was going on? Why make such a huge fuss?
Even the academy's "guardian beast" had come down. Could another faction have invaded the academy??
After completing the Analysis, Lynn turned his gaze to the Abyssal Night Watcher before him.
This thing was entirely made up of three kinds of abyssal creatures. He could not tell whether they had been modified while alive before being turned into undead, or assembled together after death.
No matter how it had been made, reaching the True Spirit level was utterly insane!
This should have been Headmaster Azman's undead creature, left behind to guard the top of the tower. It would only be activated when a powerful Stigma-level threat appeared within the academy.
Lynn spread his hands at the Abyssal Night Watcher, signaling that he was giving up resistance.
The Abyssal Night Watcher ignored him and continued glaring at Lynn menacingly. If he made the slightest unusual move, he would be met with thunderous wrath.
Naturally, Lynn was not looking to get himself killed.
Since the academy had even deployed a True Spirit-level being, there was no need to resist. He might as well surrender.
Besides, he had the right on his side. The academy could not possibly just butcher him outright, could it?
