After reading the glorious breakthrough histories of the Academy's "senior predecessors," Lynn returned the stone tablet and looked toward the black door at the very back, wrapped in chains.
He walked over and saw a line engraved on the door:
"Beyond this door lies a True Spirit-level Taboo. To open it, one must use the soul of a True Spirit as the key, or gather seven Chief's Badges."
Lynn could not help complaining, "What, is this some collect-seven-dragon-balls-and-summon-a-dragon scenario?"
But if Stigma-level Taboos were already this powerful, what would True Spirit-level Taboos be like? Could there be an even higher method of breakthrough?
Lynn reached out to test it.
The moment he pressed the Soul Chief's Badge against it, one of the chains automatically loosened.
But the remaining six did not move at all.
He tried Analysis again, but the restriction was clearly at the True Spirit level and could not be shaken.
