The other stewards and Apprentices in the shop gathered around, staring at the wind chime with baffled expressions.
One young Apprentice even foolishly asked, "Is this wind chime broken? Want me to take it in for repairs?"
"No." Lynn tucked the wind chime into his sleeve. "I'm taking it to play with for a couple of days. Get back to work."
Basso and Sim exchanged a glance, then both nodded and repeatedly agreed.
"My lord, what exactly is so special about that wind chime..." Sim could not hold back and quietly asked.
Lynn glanced at him. "Don't ask questions you shouldn't ask. It won't do you any good. If you find any old items Marfa left behind in the shop from now on, don't touch them carelessly. Notify me first."
Sim shrank back and did not dare ask any more questions. Basso hurriedly agreed as well.
Lynn did not linger. He turned and returned to the back hall, leaving the shop through the Teleportation Wizard Array.

Inside the laboratory, Lynn sealed the door shut and added an Isolation Wizard Array outside it.
He placed the wind chime at the center of the soul array, then retreated three meters and observed it carefully.
The token within the wind chime was
