Background
Jack is the elderly village head of Holy Soul Village and Lin Yang's adoptive guardian. After Lin Yang transmigrates to the Douluo Continent, Jack takes him in and cares for him at home. 1
When the village's martial-soul awakening approaches, Jack informs Lin Yang and personally gathers Lin Yang, Tang San, and the other children for Su Yuntao's ceremony. He waits outside afterward, hoping that the children will become soul masters. 1
