Background / History
Crown Prince of Great Qin
Fusu is Ying Zheng's son and the Crown Prince of the Qin Dynasty on Rainbow Continent. After Ying Zheng withdrew from routine governance to comprehend the laws of the Heavenly Dao, Fusu cultivated while overseeing the empire's affairs. 35
He is deeply attached to the Ying clan's descendants on Earth, an attachment Ying Zheng recognizes as one of Fusu's defining concerns. 35 He is also described as Ying Zheng's son and lover. 40
Meeting Qin Yi
Fusu first encounters Qin Yi at the Meng clan's residence, where Qin Yi's remarks about an “Ying Fusu” from his home world immediately make Fusu suspect that he originated from Earth. He questions Qin Yi about his background, then brings him to the imperial palace to meet Ying Zheng. 34
After learning of Qin Yi's connection to Earth and hearing of Qin history, Fusu treats him with growing affection as a distant descendant. He persuades Ying Zheng to let Qin Yi remain on Rainbow Continent for several days rather than ordering him to return immediately. 35
Fusu accompanies Qin Yi to the northwestern territory to meet Liu Che. Although Liu Che initially suspects hostile intentions, Fusu clarifies that his visit is driven by curiosity rather than old political grievances. 36
Before Qin Yi returns to Earth, Fusu entrusts him with his half of the He Clan Jade, explaining that it can be reunited with the Earth half to break the Nine Provinces Barrier. 36
Master of Qin Yi and Qin Rong
After Qin Yi's family reaches Rainbow Continent, Fusu offers to become Qin Yi's master. Qin Yi accepts immediately, and Fusu gives him Soft Gold Armor for protection. 40
Fusu also accepts the Divine Fruit of Crossing Calamity that Qin Yi offers him, then brings it to Ying Zheng. Later, he arranges for Qin Yi and Qin Rong to attend the Royal Academy under the identities of collateral Ying-clan descendants. 40
When Qin Rong must leave with Tianku to undergo the Heavenly Origin Sect's inheritance baptism and repair his incomplete soul, Fusu supports the decision despite initially being surprised that Qin Rong had not formally become his disciple. Qin Rong subsequently kneels and acknowledges Fusu as his master before departing. 42
Following Qin Rong's departure, Fusu guides Qin Yi through secluded cultivation and the study of alchemy. 42
Later Events
When Qin Yi's connection to Fusu becomes known to the Qin family of the advanced technological plane, Qin Yuanlie recognizes him as an ancestor of the Ying clan. Fusu learns that Hu Hai is cultivating in Ruins No. 9 and becomes concerned for his younger brother. 57
Fusu refuses Qin Yuanlie's proposal to sacrifice innocents to enter Ruins No. 9, forbidding any expedition without his permission. He nevertheless allows Qin Yi to investigate through his special means after being reassured of his safety. 58
Fusu later reunites with Hu Hai after centuries apart. During the crisis surrounding the Divine Burial Grounds, he confirms that Qin Rong's sudden maturity resulted from experiencing ten thousand lifetimes of reincarnation. 59
Following the God-Linking Formation and the return to devastated Earth, Fusu helps Lady Houtu's group establish the Spirit-Gathering Formation intended to restore Earth's spiritual energy. 61
