The Supreme Kai Realm.

Shin looked down at his current body... The strange clothes, the purple skin, and the white hair like a rooster's comb...

Shin fell silent for a moment and closed his eyes. Fragments of memories surfaced in his mind... It seemed he had... become a Supreme Kai.

Shin furrowed his brow, recalling the Supreme Kai's role in the Dragon Ball anime...

How to put it? In short: a nobody!

He was clearly a supreme god on the same level as a God of Destruction. He should have had an imposing presence, but his performance in the anime wasn't merely disappointing—it was only a little better than that of an extra.

"So I've been transported to the Dragon Ball World and become the East Supreme Kai?" Shin murmured to himself.

He furrowed his brow and said dejectedly, "Why couldn't I have been reincarnated as the main character? Vegeta would've been fine, too. At the very least, you could've made me an ordinary Saiyan—or even someone from the Frieza Race. Why did it have to be a Supreme Kai?"

Although Supreme Kais started out stronger than Super Saiyans, the power levels in Dragon Ball skyrocketed so quickly that by the middle and later arcs, a Supreme Kai's strength was practically no different from an ordinary person's when compared to the main cast.

"How am I supposed to get by from now on?" Thinking about having to compete with a bunch of overpowered characters in the future, Shin felt as if everything ahead of him was bleak.

"Beep! The Source Point Sign-In System has been activated."

Shin froze, then grew excited. "I knew it! You always get a cheat when you're transported to another world!"

"System, what can you do?" Shin asked impatiently.

"Beep! The host has one sign-in opportunity each day. Each sign-in grants 1 Source Point, which can unlock the host's potential."

"Beep! Scanning..."

"Beep! Scan complete. The potential-unlocking progress of the host's current body is: 0.01%."

Shin was stunned. He couldn't help rubbing his eyes, but no matter how many times he looked, the number on the screen in front of him was still 0.01%.

"Damn! No wonder Supreme Kais are so weak! Only 0.01% of their potential has been unlocked. Of course they're not strong!" Shin grumbled.

"System, how much of my potential can 1 Source Point unlock?" Shin asked hopefully.

"Beep! According to the system's assessment, your body has extremely high potential, but it is locked behind a sturdy Gene Lock. Unlocking it is exceptionally difficult, so 1 Source Point can only unlock 0.01% of your potential."

"0.01%?"

Shin thought it over... His predecessor had cultivated for millions of years just to unlock 0.01% of his potential. Now Shin only needed a day... That actually sounded pretty good!

Shin's eyes lit up.

"System, sign me in, then unlock my potential!" Shin urged.

"Beep! Sign-in complete. You have received 1 Source Point."

"Beep! 1 Source Point consumed. Your potential has been unlocked. Your current potential progress: 0.02%."

The system's voice faded.

Shin felt as though his body had been elevated to a higher state.

His entire being—his energy and spirit—had been forcefully lifted to an incredible level!

Shin lowered his head in disbelief and stared at his trembling hands... Although he had only just been transported into the body of a Supreme Kai, he could clearly feel that he was now far stronger than he had been a second ago!

"I feel like... I could kill the version of myself from a second ago with one slap!" Shin clenched his fist and declared confidently.

"I wonder, if I unlock 100% of my potential, could I surpass Beerus?" Shin speculated.

"Forget it. That's not important. The most urgent thing now is to get used to this body and fully master its abilities."

Shin closed his eyes and began absorbing the fragments of his predecessor's memories. Using what he remembered, he slowly sorted through his abilities and the useful information he had inherited.

One day later.

Shin exhaled a breath of stale air. By now, he had gained a general grasp of most of his predecessor's abilities.

Mind Reading, Creation, Instant Transmission, Universe Perception... and many other incredible abilities.

"Earth... Earth..."

Murmuring to himself, Shin closed his eyes and used Universe Perception to search for Earth.

Although he didn't know Earth's exact coordinates in Universe 7, he was a Supreme Kai, one of the universe's highest-ranking gods, and possessed miraculous powers.

Even a mid- to low-ranking god like North Kai could pinpoint Namek in the vast universe. There was no reason a Supreme Kai couldn't do the same.

A moment later.

Shin opened his eyes. He had found Earth.

The corners of Shin's mouth lifted as a god's gaze fell upon the planet.

In an instant, the whole of Earth came into view, every detail crystal clear!

The god's gaze swept over the entire planet like a radar scan...

Earth, the Heavenly Realm.

Clatter~

The staff in Kami's hand fell to the ground.

Mr. Popo looked up at Kami in confusion, then saw his master's stunned expression. It was as if he'd just received a terrible shock—his face had gone green with fright.

Mr. Popo asked anxiously, "Lord Kami, what's wrong?"

Kami trembled all over, cold sweat pouring from his forehead. He was terrified to the extreme!

"P... Popo... did... did you feel that just now? There was a... terrifying Divine Power... descending upon Earth..."

Mr. Popo froze, then shook his head. "I'm sorry, Lord Kami. I didn't feel anything."

Kami's body trembled as he recalled the vast Divine Power he had just sensed. It had lasted only a brief moment, but it had left a deep impression!

Compared to it, he was like a firefly before the moon!

"That Divine Power just now... Could it have been Lord King Kai? No... Even Lord King Kai shouldn't feel that far beyond me... C-could it be..."

Thinking of one possibility, Kami said in disbelief, "C-could it have been... Grand Kai?"

Shin withdrew his gaze and opened his eyes.

From his observations of Earth, he had figured out roughly where he was in the timeline.

It should have been the day after Raditz arrived on Earth.

Raditz had already been killed.

Shin had found Piccolo and Son Gohan on Earth. Son Gohan was still very young and struggling to survive in the wilderness.

"So this is the Saiyan Invasion Arc?"

Shin lowered his eyes and thought for a moment, silently calculating. "From now until the Buu Arc, I have around ten years to grow stronger. I should be able to unlock... more than 40% of my potential."

"I wonder if unlocking more than 40% of my potential will let me defeat Majin Buu." Shin wasn't confident.

After all, Majin Buu's strength was plain for everyone to see. Who wouldn't feel nervous facing him?

At least Shin knew that if he faced Majin Buu as he was now, he'd probably get beaten so badly he'd shit himself.

"Forget it. I'll take things as they come. Worst case, I'll just hide behind the main characters."

Thinking of the main characters, Shin thought of Son Goku.

"Son Goku should be on Snake Way in the Underworld right now, shouldn't he?" With that thought, Shin let his gaze fall downward.

Compared to finding a planet in the vast universe, finding the Underworld was much easier, because Shin remembered its coordinates.
