Dragon Ball World.
Age 761, October 12th.
Supreme Kai Realm.
Shin looked down to examine his new body... the strange attire, the purple skin, and the white hair that resembled a rooster's comb...
Shin remained silent for a moment, closing his eyes as fragments of memory surfaced in his mind... it seemed he had... become the Supreme Kai.
Shin frowned, recalling the scenes involving the Supreme Kai from the Dragon Ball anime...
How should he put it? To summarize it in one sentence: he was just a passerby!
Despite being a supreme god with the same status as a God of Destruction, his presence should have been grand, but his performance in the anime could not be called satisfactory; it was barely better than a background character.
So I transmigrated into the Dragon Ball world and became the East Supreme Kai? Shin muttered to himself.
He frowned, feeling somewhat dejected. Why couldn't I have transmigrated as the protagonist? Vegeta would have been fine too. At the very least, let me be a common Saiyan, or even a member of the Frieza Race. Why did it have to be the Supreme Kai?
Although the Supreme Kai's initial combat power was above that of a Super Saiyan, the power scaling in Dragon Ball inflated so rapidly that, compared to the protagonist group in the mid-to-late stages, his combat power was effectively no different from an ordinary person.
How am I supposed to survive in the future? The thought of competing on the same stage as a group of cheaters made his future seem bleak.
"Ding, Source Point Sign-In System activated."
Shin froze, then immediately grew excited. I knew it! Transmigration must come with a golden finger!
System, what are your functions? Shin asked impatiently.
"Ding, the host has one sign-in opportunity every day. Each sign-in grants 1 Source Point. Source Points can be used to unlock the host's potential."
"Ding, scanning..."
"Ding, scan complete. The host's current potential unlocking progress is: 0.01%."
Shin was stunned. He couldn't help but rub his eyes, but no matter how he looked at it, the number on the interface remained 0.01%.
Damn! No wonder the Supreme Kai is so weak! With only 0.01% of his potential unlocked, it would be a miracle if he were strong! Shin complained.
System, how much potential can 1 Source Point unlock for me? Shin asked expectantly.
"Ding, according to system assessment, your current physical potential is extremely high, but
Clang.
The staff in Kami's hand clattered to the floor.
Mr. Popo looked up at Kami in confusion, only to see him looking utterly shocked, his face turning a sickly shade of green as if he had been terrified out of his wits.
Mr. Popo asked with concern, "Lord Kami, what is the matter?"
Kami trembled all over, cold sweat beading on his forehead as he reached the absolute peak of terror.
"Mr... Mr. Popo... did you... did you feel that just now? A... a terrifying Divine Power... has descended upon Earth..."
Mr. Popo blinked and shook his head. "I am sorry, Lord Kami, but I did not feel anything."
Kami's body shook as he recalled the vast Divine Power he had just sensed. Although it had lasted only a brief moment, it had left an indelible impression.
Compared to it, he felt like a mere firefly standing before the bright moon.
"That Divine Power just now... could it be the Kai? No... even if it were the Kai, the gap should not feel this immense... Could... could it be..."
Kami thought of a possibility and said in disbelief, "Could it be... the Grand Kai?"
Supreme Kai Realm.
Shin withdrew his gaze and opened his eyes.
Through his observation of Earth just now, he had gained a rough understanding of the timeline he currently occupied.
It should be the second day after Raditz arrived on Earth.
Raditz had already been killed by this point.
Shin found Piccolo and Son Gohan on Earth. At this time, Son Gohan was still very young, struggling to survive in the wilderness.
"The Saiyan Invasion Arc timeline, is it?"
Shin lowered his brow in thought, calculating silently in his heart, "From now until the Buu Arc, there are about a dozen years for me to develop. My potential can probably be raised to... over 40%."
"I wonder if developing my potential to over 40% will be enough to defeat Majin Buu?" Shin felt a bit uncertain.
After all, Majin Buu's strength was plain for all to see; who wouldn't feel nervous facing him?
At the very least, Shin believed that if he were to face Majin Buu right now, he would likely be beaten to a pulp.
"Forget it, I'll take it one step at a time. If all else fails, I'll just hide behind the protagonist."
Mentioning the protagonist made Shin think of Son Goku.
"Son Goku should be on Snake Way in the Underworld right now, right?" Shin thought to himself, and cast his gaze downward.
Compared to finding a specific planet in the vast universe, locating the Underworld was much simpler, as Shin's memories contained its coordinates.
