Vegeta's Small Request

Son Gohan's answer had not come as a surprise to Shin. Though he felt somewhat regretful, Shin ultimately chose to respect Son Gohan's wishes.

"Gohan, raise your head."

Shin raised a hand in a supporting gesture, and an irresistible force straightened Son Gohan's bowed waist.

"Gohan, you don't need to apologize. Everyone has their own dreams. Being able to remain unmoved by outside matters for the sake of your dream and strive toward it with unwavering determination is admirable."

Shin turned to Vegeta. "Vegeta, you're next. What is your wish?"

Vegeta pondered for a moment before saying, "My wish is simple. Supreme Kai, I hope you can guide Kakarot and me in our training."

"Huh? Vegeta, you..." Son Goku stared at Vegeta in surprise. He had never expected Vegeta to include him in his training.

Vegeta clicked his tongue irritably and glared at Son Goku. "Kakarot, I want to prove that I'm the strongest Saiyan. If I trained alone, it wouldn't be fair to you. Under the same conditions, I will surpass you through training!"

"Vegeta..." Son Goku said, somewhat moved.

That disgusted Vegeta immensely, and he snapped, "Don't make that disgusting face. It's annoying!"

After saying that, Vegeta looked at Shin and asked somewhat nervously, "Supreme Kai, can my wish be granted?"

Shin smiled and nodded. "No problem. That wish is very simple."

"Just now, I gave Mr. Goku and Mr. Gohan a small extra gift each. It would seem a little unfair if I gave you nothing, so Mr. Vegeta, you may make one more small request."

"A small request?"

Vegeta frowned in thought. Only after a long while did he raise his head and say uneasily, "Then I'd like to ask Supreme Kai to reinforce Earth."

"Eh?!"

Vegeta's request made everyone who knew him widen their eyes and stare at him in disbelief. Was this really Vegeta? Could someone else be impersonating him?

"Vegeta, you..." As the friend who understood Vegeta best, Son Goku looked at him with mixed emotions, unable to find words for a moment.

Seeing everyone looking at him with those disgusting expressions, Vegeta snorted unhappily and explained, "When I became Bejifan before, I didn't spare a thought for Earth. During the fight with Majin Buu, I nearly destroyed the planet. I don't want that to happen again."

"Besides, Earth has suffered enough disasters. It should have been reinforced long ago. I'm afraid that one day, while training, I'll lose control and blow up Earth directly!"

At those words.

Cold sweat ran down everyone's foreheads. Though Vegeta's joke was terribly cold, it was also true.

Not just Vegeta—even for Krillin and the others, destroying Earth would be as easy as lifting a hand. They usually kept their strength suppressed and dared not let their ki run too wild, or Earth might not be able to withstand it.

Poor Earth. Such a tiny place, yet it was inhabited by a group of terrifying masters who constantly threatened it by blowing up planets.

Vegeta looked at Shin somewhat anxiously and asked, "Supreme Kai, can you fulfill my request?"

Shin looked at Vegeta approvingly, silently giving him a thumbs-up in his heart. "That's very simple."

Shin raised a hand and pointed toward the ground. Divine Power gathered at his fingertip before shooting fiercely into the earth!

The Divine Power pierced through the ground without actually damaging it. Containing the pure power of "Creation," it reached Earth's core at incredible speed and wrapped around it. At the same time, the Divine Power spread outward from the planetary core, covering the entire Earth...

The Divine Power at Shin's fingertip dispersed. Smiling, he told everyone, "I have reinforced this planet. If a battle on the scale of the previous one occurs again, it will no longer have much effect on the planet. Nor will it interfere with you Earthlings developing this planet normally."

Upon hearing that, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. At the same time, they looked at Shin gratefully, the admiration in their eyes nearly overflowing.

"Thank you, Supreme Kai!" Son Goku was the first to bow.

"Thank you, Supreme Kai!" Son Gohan followed immediately after. Then Piccolo, Krillin, Bulma, and the others also bowed to Shin.

Compared to the wishes of Son Goku and the three Saiyans earlier, what Shin had just done was a great deed that benefited the entire planet. Earth truly had endured far too many calamities, always dancing on the edge of destruction.

Now things were different. With Shin's Divine Power backing it, Earth would no longer need to worry about being destroyed by enemies.

Shin raised a hand in a supporting gesture, and a stream of Divine Power helped everyone back up.

"You needn't stand on ceremony. If you wish to thank someone, thank Vegeta. It was his selfless use of his wish that helped Earth," Shin said.

At those words.

Everyone looked at Vegeta with complicated expressions.

Only Bulma held her head high as she proudly leaned against Vegeta. Vegeta's face reddened, but he did not push Bulma away and allowed her to lean on him.

Shin turned to Son Goku and asked, "Mr. Goku, you heard Mr. Vegeta's wish earlier. Are you willing to return to the Supreme Kai Realm with Mr. Vegeta and train under me?"

"Yes! I want to go!" Son Goku said excitedly.

"Goku!" Chi-Chi looked at Son Goku reluctantly but said nothing to stop him.

Son Goku did not quite dare meet Chi-Chi's eyes, looking awkward, but nothing could shake his determination to train and become stronger.

Seeing this.

Shin smiled and reminded her, "Ms. Chi-Chi, it's all right. Every seven days, I will send the two of them back to Earth for one day. You needn't worry that you won't be able to see them again."

"Really?!"

Chi-Chi, Son Goku, and their children all asked in delighted surprise.

Shin smiled and nodded. "Yes, I wouldn't lie to you."

"That's wonderful!" Chi-Chi and her two sons let out excited cheers.

Bulma, meanwhile, did not look particularly sad. Instead, she encouraged Vegeta, "Vegeta, don't lose to Goku."

Vegeta nodded solemnly. "Yes, don't worry. The strongest Saiyan will always be me!"

Shin reminded them, "Then, Mr. Son Goku and Mr. Vegeta, will you return to the Supreme Kai Realm with me now? Or will you rest for a day and leave with me tomorrow?"

At those words.

Son Goku and Vegeta looked at each other, their thoughts entirely different.

Son Goku naturally wanted to stay and spend a day with his family, but Vegeta was eager to try and did not want to wait even a moment.

Son Goku tried to discuss it with Vegeta. "Vegeta, there's no rush for this one day. How about we leave with Supreme Kai tomorrow?"

Vegeta snorted coldly in annoyance but did not argue, nodding in agreement.

Seeing this.

Shin smiled. "Then I will come to pick you up tomorrow."

Son Goku suggested with a smile, "Then, Supreme Kai, would you like to stay at my house today? Chi-Chi's cooking is really delicious!"

Bulma also said, "You can stay at my house too. My house is quite large."
