Giru ran over too, waving his arms excitedly in front of Son Gohan.

"Gohan, I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I let my guard down and that strange creature took control of me. Everyone died because of it!" Trunks lowered his head, his face full of remorse.

"Hmph! You let scum like that take control of you? You're an embarrassment, Trunks. When we get back, you're training twice as hard... No, three times as hard!" Vegeta looked thoroughly disappointed in him.

Trunks kept his head down, not daring to argue. He could only nod awkwardly. "Yes, Dad."

"All right, everyone's fine now, aren't they? Don't be so hard on him, Vegeta." Son Goku stepped in with a smile to smooth things over.

And so the series of cosmic adventures set in motion by the Black-hearted Dragon Balls came to an end.
