Society and Bloodlines

• Bloodline hierarchy: Bloodline strength largely determines status. Higher-bloodline members can command weaker ones, who may have little standing even within their own tribes 86 112.
• Dragon lineage: Dragon blood is especially prized. Its Dragon Might can suppress Beast Race members with weaker bloodlines; the greater the gap, the stronger the effect 95 113.
• Civilization: Beast Race members have social structures and intelligence comparable to humans. They are distinct from instinct-driven Exotic Beasts, whose mixed ancestry is not recognized by the Starry Sky Beast Clan 42 86 89.
• Physical traits: Beast Race fighters generally exceed humans in bodily strength, speed, and durability, though human qi-and-blood martial arts can close that gap 91.

Organization and Notable Groups

• Beast Evolution Star: Its elders and Grand Elder direct campaigns for control of the Star Realm. Guardians, including the Tiger King, defend its territory there 87 96 178.
• Shadow Panther tribe: Darkblood’s tribe was assigned to excavate and transport ore from a Beast Race-controlled Blood Crystal Mine 86.
• Azure Dragon Tower: This Beast Race force oversees the Dragonkin Inheritance in the Earth Dragon Galaxy. Its elder Heluo is a Star Lord who rose from faint dragon ancestry to pure-blood dragon status 283 284 314.
• Exotic Beasts: Offspring of ordinary animals and Starry Sky Beast Clan members. Despite sometimes inheriting unusual abilities, they are not accepted as a branch of the clan 42.

Inheritances

• Star Realm Beast Path Inheritance: A bloodline-restricted trial left by a Beast Race expert. Its first stage permits competitors to kill one another and advances only three inheritors; the second awards the Dragon Soldier Armor to the first to cultivate Azure Dragon Body Tempering to its first level 93 112 114.
• Dragon Soldier Armor: A Dragon Race Spirit Treasure activated by dragon blood. With the third level of its paired body-tempering art, it can reduce incoming physical and energy attacks to one-tenth of their original strength 114.
• Dragonkin Inheritance: Dragon-blooded descendants can qualify through military merit. Overseen by the Azure Dragon Tower, it offers Dragon Race arts and treasures, including Dragon General Armor; purer dragon blood allows greater use of dragon armor 280 283 284.

History

Struggle for the Star Realm

Beast Evolution Star and Scarlet Radiance’s Human Race fought for the Star Realm and its resources. Beast Race elders deliberately used Xiang Longyin’s battle with human geniuses to trigger the early emergence of both races’ inheritances 96. Chen Yu secretly entered the Beast Path trial using dragon blood and claimed the Dragon Soldier Armor ahead of Xiang Longyin 112 115.

After Xiang Longyin disappeared, Beast Evolution Star’s elders feared losing their advantage. Most voted to cooperate with Evil God Cultists to regain control of the Star Realm 141 142. Beast Race forces subsequently occupied nearly all its Human Race domains, but Chen Yu—disguised as Xiang Longyin—killed all five Beast Race Guardians there. Scarlet Radiance then took control of the Star Realm 176 178 182 193.

Red River Galaxy invasion

Dragon-blooded Beast Race factions later raided Human Race territory to earn military merit for the Dragonkin Inheritance 280. Their attacks devastated planets including Amu Star and Purple Gleam Star 281 285. Chen Yu killed eleven of twelve priority Beast Race leaders and destroyed most of their fleets, deliberately allowing some survivors to spread news of his victories. His reputation, reinforced by Mohe’s warnings, prompted most remaining factions to withdraw 285 286.
