Only then did he look up.
He saw Professor McGonagall speaking seriously with Dumbledore, but Dumbledore shook his head.
He also saw Professor Quirrell, his head wrapped in ridiculous cloth, with the back of his head facing Harry as he spoke to a professor with greasy hair and a hooked nose.
But that professor was not listening at all.
His gaze was fixed on Harry, full of disgust.
"Ah!"
Harry clutched his forehead.
"What's wrong?"
Percy asked.
"N-Nothing."
Harry shook his head.
The pain in his scar vanished in an instant.
The only thing he remembered was that the waxy-faced professor probably hated him intensely.
"Who's that professor talking to Professor Quirrell?"
"That's Professor Snape, the Potions Professor of Slytherin House. He loves taking points from Gryffindor. You'd better hope he doesn't catch you making a mistake."
Percy said with a shrug.
When Harry looked up at Professor Snape again, the professor was no longer looking at him.
Harry turned back and felt hungry again. He had wanted to take another piece of pudding, only to find that everything on the table had disappeared.
Dumbledore stood up.
"All right, everyone has eaten and drunk their fill. Now, let me announce a few things to keep in mind:
First-year students are forbidden from entering the Forbidden Forest. The same goes for students of all other years.
Mr. Filch has asked me to remind everyone not to use magic in the corridors.
Lastly, I remind everyone that anyone who does not wish to die a horrible death or meet with an accident should stay away from the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."
Harry burst out laughing, only to realize that only a few people were laughing with him.
"Now, let us sing the School Song!"
With a wave of Dumbledore's wand, strips of golden ribbon floated out and twisted into lines of words above the dining tables.
"Ready, sing!"
P.S.: In this story, Harry was not a bad person. He was simply a reckless little lion who found it difficult to think of such things.
Potter Killed Someone
After finally finishing the School Song,
Harry stumbled along behind the Gryffindor students.
His eyes were nearly too sleepy to stay open.
Before leaving, he glanced back at Darren among the Slytherin House students.
His little head hung low as the Head Girl of Slytherin tugged him along ahead.
Harry felt a little unhappy, but he was too sleepy and forgot why he was unhappy.
He swayed all the way to the dormitory, and the moment he collapsed onto his bed, he fell asleep.
Darren was sleepy too.
He kept rubbing his eyes, yawning one after another.
Becky dragged him along as he staggered crookedly forward.
"Pull yourself together. We still have the prefect selection in a moment!"
"I'm not taking part..."
Darren hurriedly said.
He had no desire to become a prefect.
If he became one, it might waste a lot of his time being a Paternal Figure.
"No. Every student has to participate. Professor Snape will be watching personally. Anyone who doesn't participate will be given detention for an entire semester!"
Huh?
No way?
In the novels he had read in his previous life, Gryffindor did not have a prefect selection trial!
Even if Slytherin was stricter, surely they would not give someone detention just for refusing to participate?
Yet judging by the expressions of those around him, Becky was clearly not trying to scare him.
"B-But I don't know... magic..."
Darren opened his mouth blankly.
He had only learned Wingardium Leviosa, the Levitation Charm...
"You don't know magic!?"
Even Becky froze.
That was impossible, right?
After getting books and a wand, had this guy not tried even a few spells?
Darren blushed.
He had been grinding missions these past two days. Where had he found the time to read?
"I-I'm sorry..."
He lowered his head "embarrassedly," pressing his lips together in guilt.
Becky wanted to lecture him, but seeing him like this, she held back her sharp tongue.
In the end, she frowned and said, "Then go up there and punch each of them once. Knock them down with your fists!"
What?
As a little Paternal Figure, how could he do something so uncivilized?
No!
If he really had to fight, he thought it would be better to find someone to make an example of and settle all the trouble at once.
Who should he choose?
Without any surprise, Darren noticed Malfoy eavesdropping nearby.
Ah-heh!
It was you!
"No!"
Darren blurted out. He tried his best to raise his voice. "I-I've been strong since I was little... I'm afraid I might hurt them..."
"Pfft, hahahaha! I'm dying! Harry Potter's little brother actually says he's been strong since he was little.
Hahaha! Then punch me and let me see just how strong you are!"
Draco Malfoy strode over, laughing wildly.
He looked at Darren with contempt.
Darren's fists instantly began to itch.
But he held himself back.
He showed a magnanimous smile and said, "You don't understand. I don't blame you, but I really am strong, I..."
"Hahaha! Look at this Potter bragging, it's hilarious. Kid, you're probably even more cowar...dly than that brother of yours!"
He mocked loudly, and many of the surrounding Slytherin students began laughing as well.
Darren lowered his head and chuckled quietly.
Hehe. You'll soon find out that I really am a Paternal Figure.
System, use one thousand Paternal Points to summon an Obscurus for one minute.
He had earned quite a few Paternal Points today. Even after spending a thousand, he still had over eight hundred left.
He could afford it!
It was just a little wasteful to use one minute of an Obscurus on his fists.
