Darren smiled and glanced at his cauldron.

Then he turned off the heat beneath it and added a little Snooze Bean juice.

His potion immediately turned the same pink as Harry's, though it looked slightly closer to bright red.

"Brother, I'm glad you've finally started using your brain in Potions class. But that's an old trick. I used that method back in my second year. But I thought it was too slow, so I switched to this method. If you like it, write it down and use it next time!"

Harry was dumbfounded.

He turned to look at the Potions textbook he had regarded as the greatest guide in existence and suddenly felt like a complete bumpkin.

He sighed and admitted defeat.

His thoughts turned to Malfoy.

Harry believed Malfoy was definitely plotting something.

And Voldemort had ordered Malfoy to do it.

But Ron and Hermione both thought that was unlikely.
