Although she kept talking, looking at Harry and Ron's intelligence, she really couldn't keep her expression under control.

So he had never paid attention to whether any were missing.

But Darren had sensed his aura on the comic books Mundungus had been selling just now.

Most importantly, Peeves had added patterns made of gold to them, meant to make the books look more dazzling.

Those gold patterns were Peeves's exclusive markings for him, making it easier for him to quickly find his own books.

He hadn't expected Mundungus to steal them.

Had that guy thought he was dead, so he had stolen his things from Harry?
