"We suspect that girl has something wrong with her brain!"

"Yeah, how could she possibly fancy you?"

Ron threw a handful of small knives at them.

Fred and George did not care.

They dodged the knives, then looked at Darren.

"All right then, dear little Darren, I heard you've won the pursuit of even more girls at Hogwarts. Have you considered choosing a lovely girl?"

Darren laughed.

Leaning lazily against the sofa, he said, "No. What if I die tomorrow?"

"Don't talk nonsense!"

"Watch your mouth!"

"Quick, slap the table!"

Darren's words made many people anxious. Mrs. Weasley practically wanted him to circle the table and knock on it all the way around.

This was probably similar to saying "ptui, ptui, ptui" back home?

Darren had not wanted to do it, but seeing Hermione, Mrs. Weasley, and even Ginny with tears in their eyes, he finally compromised and gave the table a few taps.

After tapping it, he said softly, "Don't be afraid. I'm only worried about holding a girl back, but actually, I'll protect myself and all of you.

We'll all survive!"

Mrs. Weasley held a banquet.

She made a great deal of food, enough to fill several tables.

Lupin and Sirius came as well.

Lupin looked apologetically at Darren.

"I had wanted to write you a letter, but Dumbledore sent me undercover among the Werewolves, so I had no way of contacting you."

Darren put on a worried expression.

"I really hope I can graduate soon. Then I'll be able to help you too." Lupin laughed.

"You're still a child!"
