The old man noticed it too, his gaze turning grave. He now understood the helplessness that Dragon-type Pokémon Trainer had felt all those years ago. He called out to Haxorus:

Haxorus stamped the ground and danced, moving its limbs to an ancient rhythm. Its tail lashed the ground repeatedly as a blue veil of light enveloped its body.
The old man had stopped his Misdreavus (Flutter Mane) from boosting its stats earlier, and now he wanted Haxorus to boost its own? Roy certainly wasn't going to allow that.

The Red Orb in front of Misdreavus (Flutter Mane) lit up, and a freezing wind rose around it. The biting gale swept across Haxorus's body like blades.
With nowhere to dodge, Haxorus could only face the freezing wind head-on.
The frost-laden wind froze Haxorus's dancing feet in place, lowering its speed as well.
Already somewhat disoriented by the earlier Disarming Voice, Haxorus now took another hit, and its Dragon Dance looked about to stop.
But the old man shouted from the command platform:
"Keep up the Dragon Dance!"
Hearing his command, Haxorus swung its legs forcefully and stamped down. The frost clinging to its legs shattered instantly, allowing its Dragon Dance to continue.
Then Haxorus endured the blade-like ice slicing across its body. Wounds of all sizes opened up, but it kept dancing to boost its stats.
Meanwhile, Misdreavus (Flutter Mane) poured more power into Icy Wind, practically turning it into a small, localized blizzard.
Yet Haxorus powered through Icy Wind and completed its Dragon Dance. Its presence surged, its attack rose, and its previously lowered speed increased again.
After finishing its first Dragon Dance, Haxorus didn't stop. It began a second, blue light appearing around its body once more.
