After making all the necessary arrangements, Roy released Golurk from his Poké Ball.
With ample energy now coursing through Golurk's body, every rune on him shone brightly.
Roy lifted Golurk with his bare hands and placed him on the Altar.
Just as Roy was about to ask Marshadow what to do next, several unknown runes lit up in the corners of the murals surrounding the Stone Chamber.
The glowing runes then linked together, forming a rune in midair identical to the one on Golurk's shoulder, and cast a beam of light onto Golurk on the Altar.
As if responding to it, the runes on Golurk's body shone even more brightly.
Suddenly, the runes that formed Golurk's eyes blazed with brilliant light.
"Golu~~"
A mechanical voice rang out as Golurk awakened on the Altar. His limbs creaked after so long without movement, and dust billowed off his body, making Roy cover his mouth and nose as he choked on it.
Looking around at the familiar surroundings, Golurk raised his large hand and scratched his head in a humanlike gesture. Hadn't I already exhausted my energy defeating all the intruders?
Why have I woken up again?
Golurk noticed Roy watching him and mistook him for an intruder. The runes on his body lit up as he prepared to attack Roy, but then he suddenly stopped.
Misdreavus and Annihilape also watched Golurk warily as he lay on the Altar, ready to prevent him from attacking Roy.
Golurk turned his rune-shaped eyes toward Roy. As Roy met his gaze, Golurk was certain he had never seen him before.
Yet he felt an inexplicable sense of closeness to Roy. He could not remember why he knew that term, but the knowledge stored in his mind told him it was appropriate here.
*So who is this
