Larvesta sprang up from the floor and spat out whitish-red silk. With a few sharp whooshes, the strands wrapped around the ceiling, while their other ends wound precisely around Deino's body.
"Heave-ho!"
Before Deino could react, the dense web of silk hoisted it up, leaving it hanging upside down in midair, struggling nonstop.
"Roar! Roar, roar!"
Deino clearly hadn't expected the fat bug to have a trick like this. It roared furiously, twisting its body and opening its mouth to bite through the silk and break free.
Seeing this, Larvesta spat out another strand, neatly binding Deino's mouth shut so it couldn't make a sound.
Deino tried to harness the energy inside its body to break free, but it couldn't snap the silk at all.
Clearly, there was still a considerable gap in strength between the two Pokémon.
Reinforced by the Bug-type energy inside Larvesta's body, its String Shot was incredibly tough. The little energy Deino possessed was nowhere near a match for Larvesta's.
Larvesta had only suffered earlier because it had been busy showing off and hadn't expected Deino to launch a sneak attack. Otherwise, there was no way that attack would have landed.
Now that Larvesta was taking things seriously, Deino was no match for it. In terms of strength, Deino still had a long way to go.
Completely out of options, Deino could only flail its limbs like an enormous hanging rice dumpling. It looked utterly ridiculous.
Watching Deino struggle fruitlessly in midair, Larvesta hopped onto the table in triumph, raised its head, and chirped away, looking as though it were asserting its authority: "New kid, now you know how tough I am, right? From now on, you listen to me in this house!"
Watching the chaotic yet hilarious scene, Lin Mo shook his head helplessly. "All
