Having traveled the world and witnessed the benefits Zhang Yang's policies had brought, he deeply admired Zhang Yang's actions.
Besides, though he was a World-Opener, Zhang Yang was one as well!
Especially since several advancements in his Sacred Dao had come from Zhang Yang's reminders, he sincerely sought his instruction.
"Uncle Sage Master, you truly should no longer sit in the position of Sacred Lord," Zhang Yang said seriously. "Since you wish to edify all living beings, you must be among them... As the Sacred Lord, you have already distanced yourself from them. How can you edify them like that?"
In his view, once the Sage Master could step down from his lofty position as Sacred Lord, descend from the altar, and blend into the crowd, his edification would already have improved enormously.
How could someone who wished to edify all living beings do so while standing high above them, looking down upon them?
If you could only guess at what living beings needed out of thin air, never put it into practice, never investigate it, and then publish your theories, weren't such theories no different from those "experts"?
This was the classic case of "one man's view"!
If that one man possessed brilliant insight, it was fine. But if it was "one fool's opinion," then it truly was the foolishness of the whole world.
Zhang Yang continued, "Especially now that the Three Trials of Questioning the Heart have emerged, the foundation of the Sacred Dao is in place.
