Doflamingo's Welcome, Edward Weevil
"This new generation of Uchiha directly confronted Jack the Drought at Coral Port."
"Twenty-one people in total, all of them escaped unscathed. The team was led by Uchiha Chunwu and Uchiha Rin, while the real killer move, Uchiha Kei, was positioned halfway up the sea behind them, and with a casual sword strike, he severely injured Jack."
Doflamingo slightly raised his chin and asked in return, "Now, do you still think it's unnecessary?"
With just a few simple words, Trebol felt a sudden chill in his heart, and the snot hanging from his lips almost froze.
His nonchalant attitude vanished instantly, and the contempt in his heart disappeared completely.
A gentle morning breeze swept across the harbor, carrying the cool, damp air from the sea.
Chunwu and Rin walked side by side down the deck, followed closely by nineteen new generation members of the Uchiha clan.
Their uniform and neat Clan Uniform was clean and crisp, the gray-white sleeves fluttering gently in the sea breeze. The group moved in unison, their demeanor calm and composed, exuding a restrained sense of authority.
Doflamingo stood at the end of the dock, and when he saw this group of people in the distance, a fleeting look of extreme restraint and respect flashed across his eyes.
The next second, all the arrogance on his face vanished, replaced by a warm smile, and he strode forward with open arms to greet her.
His enthusiastic demeanor completely betrayed any trace of the aura of an underground king or dark emperor; he looked exactly like a distinguished guest welcoming a long-lost friend.
"Welcome, Uchiha lords, to Dressrosa!"
His tone was exaggerated yet enthusiastic, and he bowed deeply, a perfect ninety-degree bow, his posture extremely humble, "Your presence here truly brings honor to the entire kingdom."
Chunwu stood quietly in place, his expression calm and indifferent, watching as this former Shichibukai, who once dominated the seas, bowed and scraped before him.
He remained unmoved and unhurried throughout, as steady as a rock.
"Doflamingo." He spoke in a cool, emotionless voice, "Elder Qi arranged for us to pass through this place only to check on the construction progress of the island's port supply station. It's just a routine inspection, not a sightseeing trip."
Doflamingo straightened up, his smile undiminished, still gentle and respectful.
"Rest assured, everyone, the supply station was built and completed according to the standards set by the Uchiha. It is fully equipped, on standby 24/7, and ready for inspection and verification at any time."
He pressed his advantage, adding obsequiously, "I've prepared a grand banquet, gathering Dressrosa's top chefs, a collection of fine wines, and the country's most outstanding dancers. While it may not be quite as grand as the top-tier event on Origin Island, it's still a token of my appreciation."
After finishing his sentence, he lowered his voice slightly and smiled with a sense of propriety, "In the end, I am now also a member of the Uchiha clan, so naturally I must do my best to treat my guests well."
Chunwu remained silent for two breaths, then slightly turned his head to look at Lin beside him.
Rin shrugged lightly, her eyes relaxed, completely indifferent and saying it was up to you to decide.
Withdrawing his gaze, Chunwu replied firmly, "The banquet is unnecessary. Let's go to the port to inspect the fortifications first, and then everyone can return directly to the ship. There's no need for such extravagance in the future; it only adds unnecessary trouble."
Doflamingo's smile remained flawless, but inwardly he secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Not being fussy, not nitpicking, and not deliberately finding fault – that's the best outcome.
What he feared most was never poor hospitality or a lack of grandeur, but rather that these unpredictable Uchiha clan members would cause any trouble within Dressrosa.
No one understood the Uchiha Clan's true strength and terror better than him.
The last time the Uchiha set foot on this island was when Natsu visited in person.
The oppression and intimidation he experienced that day were a nightmare he never wanted to relive.
Now he only hopes to get through this safely. As long as this group of newcomers patrols safely and leaves the island smoothly, he will be very fortunate.
In a corner of the Grand Line, the beach of an unnamed deserted island is quiet and peaceful.
The Thousand Sunny lay quietly aground on the clear, shallow beach, its hull bathed in the scorching midday sun, the sea breeze gently ruffling its sails and creating delicate ripples.
The scene on the deck and the beach was no different from countless other afternoons at sea. Luffy squatted on the warm sand, enthusiastically digging through the tiny seashells and building up a small sand pile;
Zoro leaned against the ship's railing, closed his eyes, and rested, his breathing even and clear, letting the sea breeze tousle his hair;
Sanji went into the kitchen to check the supplies they had gathered along the way and to organize the food and drinks in the storage compartment;
Nami unfolded the brand-new nautical chart, lightly tapping the paper with her fingertips, carefully calculating the route for the next leg of the voyage.
Peaceful and languid, these are the most common scenes of rest on a journey through the New World.
The tranquility was shattered by two extremely faint sounds coming from deep within the dense forest.
Rather than saying that two people appeared, it would be more accurate to say that one person walked slowly and calmly, while the other silently followed.
The woman in front of him was short, with a face full of fat, and a pair of round-framed sunglasses were firmly perched on her nose, concealing all the scheming in her eyes.
She leaned on an old cane, her steps unsteady and dragging, her swaying posture resembling that of an old penguin resting on the shore, looking utterly intimidating.
But the giant following behind her made the air on the entire beach instantly freeze.
A towering figure, seven or eight meters tall, rose from the ground, his body covered in layers of bulging muscles, every inch of which exuded explosive power. Just by standing there, he emanated an overwhelming sense of oppression.
He was so silent it was almost deathly still, as if he deliberately held back his breathing. His whole being transformed into a silent, accumulating weapon, with a giant naginata, thicker than a ship's mast, hanging in his palm. The blade was heavy and heavy, causing the surrounding airflow to stagnate slightly.
Bagingom Stussy came to a steady stop in the middle of the beach and raised his hand to push up his sunglasses.
Her gaze swept over Luffy, who was squatting and playing, over Zoro, who was sleeping soundly with his arm as a pillow, over the busy Sanji and Nami, who was intently studying the sea chart, and slowly swept over the entire Thousand Sunny, finally settling on the Straw Hat Pirate Flag fluttering in the wind above the mast.
The Straw Hat Pirates.
Monkey D. Luffy, with a bounty of 150 million Beli, was a key figure who stirred up the Summit War.
Surrounding him are formidable figures who have risen to prominence— Pirate Hunter Zoro, Black Leg Sanji, and the Devil Child Nico Robin.
Having seen through everything, Stussy's lips slowly parted into an exaggerated arc, revealing a set of uneven, yellowed teeth, his eyes filled with a greedy smile.
"Weevil."
Without turning her head, she lightly tapped the tip of her cane, aiming precisely in Luffy's direction, her tone flippant yet sinister. "These heads aren't cheap. Go, cut down that one in the straw Straw Hat."
As soon as he finished speaking, the giant moved.
Weevil took a step forward, dragging his heavy naginata. His heavy weight crushed the sand, carving a deep, bottomless trench.
