Bounty of 3.5 Billion Beli! The Fifth Emperor of the Sea!
"Finally, issue a bounty for the entire Uchiha Clan." Sengoku took a deep breath and wrote down the last number, "One hundred billion Beli."
"What about the titles?" Tsuru pulled out a list prepared by the intelligence department. "The intelligence department has come up with a few: ' Red Eye Demon Clan,' ' Wood Release Clan,' 'Space Demon'..."
"No need for those." Sengoku shook his head, recalling the strange abilities Kizaru had described, and the Red Eye in Gion that could summon giant samurai. "Let's just call them ' Demon-Subduing Ghost Clan.' As for Uchiha Natsu ..."
He recalled the black figure that appeared and disappeared on the battlefield, the kunai that appeared out of Kunai and vanished, and the void aura that seemed to devour everything.
"Let's call it ' Void Demon Tamer '."
The pen fell heavily, and he signed the four characters "Sengoku the Buddha" at the end of the reward notice. The ink spread out on the paper, forming a small dot, like a drop of congealed blood.
The sky outside the window had completely darkened, and the staff officers lit oil lamps. The dim light fell on the wanted poster, making the shocking numbers and cold titles appear particularly glaring.
This reward notice will be broadcast to every corner of the ocean tomorrow morning on the navy's news ship.
And for the first time, the Red Eye tribe far away in the West Blue will be remembered by the whole world as the "Demon-Subduing Ghost Clan".
Before the ink on the bounty poster had even dried, an albatross snatched it and flew it to the World Economy News Paper headquarters on the Grand Line overnight.
Morgans sat behind his desk with his legs crossed, a freshly brewed cup of coffee in his hand, flipping through press releases from various places delivered by his subordinates.
When he saw the wanted poster with Uchiha Natsu's image on it, he slammed his coffee cup on the table with a loud crash, spilling scalding coffee all over the table, but he didn't even notice.
"Three billion! Three billion Beli!"
He suddenly jumped up from the chair, his black feathers bristling with excitement, and his round eyes flashed with a mad light.
As the person in the world who understands news best, he knows better than anyone what this number means—it's a bounty on Yonko Level, Big News Morgans that could shake the entire ocean!
"Quick! Call all your informants back!" Morgans shouted at the top of his lungs. With a flap of his wings, countless seabirds soared from the newspaper office attic, flying in all directions.
"West Blue! Send out every seabird that can go to the West Blue! I need to know everything about those Red Eye! Even what they ate today, I need to know!"
His Bird-Bird Fruit, Albatross Form, allows him to communicate with seabirds all over the world.
These seabirds, scattered across every sea area, are his most loyal eyes and ears and messengers.
In just one day, countless small notes filled with intelligence flew back to his desk from all over the world like snowflakes.
"Six thousand elite naval troops wiped out? Vice Admiral Gion severely wounded? Admiral Kizaru forced to retreat in disarray?" Morgans rubbed his hands excitedly as he flipped through the intelligence, muttering to himself, "Good! Excellent! Write it like this! Make the naval situation as miserable as possible!"
With a flourish of his pen, he began to write furiously on the manuscript paper. The original report from Gion, "four thousand elite troops lost," was changed to "six thousand elite naval troops perished in the West Blue."
Kizaru's "voluntary retreat" turned into "being chased and attacked by Uchiha Natsu three hundred nautical miles, almost unable to escape";
Even the fact that four members of the Uchiha Clan died in battle was written by him as "the Navy paid a heavy price, only killing four members of the enemy clan."
His editor, seeing his writing becoming increasingly outrageous, couldn't help but lean over and whisper a reminder: "Editor-in-chief, isn't this going a bit too far? What if the Navy investigates..."
"Investigate? Investigate what?" Morgans interrupted him without looking up, his feathers practically standing on end. "News is all about exaggeration! The more exaggerated, the more people will watch! I want the whole world to know that a ruthless character has emerged in the West Blue who can beat the navy to a pulp!"
He wrote incredibly fast, the pen tip scratching across the paper with a soft rustling sound. In less than an hour, a lengthy headline article of several thousand words was freshly produced.
"Editor-in-chief, what should the headline be?" Another subordinate ran over with the formatted layout, his face full of anticipation.
Morgans put down his pen, stroked his chin, and pondered for a moment. He looked at the scarlet Gunbai symbol on the manuscript paper, at the astonishing figure of 3.5 billion Beli, and suddenly his eyes lit up. He slammed his hand on the table.
"Got it!"
He picked up a marker and, in the largest and boldest font, wrote a headline at the very top of the page that was enough to make the entire ocean boil:
Shocking! A mysterious new force has emerged! The Demon-Subduing Ghost Clan of the West Blue, and its fifth Emperor of the Sea have appeared!
"Use this!" Morgans shouted excitedly, flapping his wings and tossing the typesetting manuscript to the printing department. "Print ten million more copies immediately! Get all the newsbirds out in force! I want everyone on this ocean to know the name ' Void Demon Tamer ' Uchiha Natsu ' before sunrise tomorrow!"
The printing press roared to life, and sheets of newspaper, still smelling of ink, were printed at breakneck speed.
Before dawn, countless albatrosses, carrying these newspapers in their beaks, took off from the World Economy News Paper headquarters and flew towards the East Blue, the West Blue, the South Blue, the North Blue, and every corner of the Grand Line.
By the time the sun rose, the newspaper had already appeared in the Navy's Fleet Admiral's Office, the Four Emperors ' pirate ships, the Revolutionary Army's bases, and in the taverns of every small town.
The entire ocean was in an uproar because of this eye-catching headline.
Newspapers flooded the entire sea like a tide.
From the most remote Foosha Village tavern in the East Blue, to the bar in the Sabaody Archipelago in the first half of the Grand Line, and then to the war-torn island ports of the New World, wherever pirates gather, there is that newspaper with a scarlet Gunbai printed on it.
The wooden table was slammed shut with a loud bang, the clinking of bottles mingled with the shouts of the pirates, almost lifting the roof off.
"A fifth Emperor of the Sea? What a joke! How could a place like the West Blue produce Four Emperors?" A pirate with a face full of scars slammed his fist on the table and shouted, spilling his beer all over himself.
"You know nothing!" The old pirate next to him exhaled a smoke ring and pointed at the number on the newspaper, "Three billion Beli! Only a madman like the Navy would offer such a high price to some nobody!"
I heard that even Admiral Kizaru himself couldn't gain the upper hand, Gion Vice Admiral Gion's sword was even broken, and not a single one of the four thousand marines returned!
