Madara awakened the Rinnegan and fought Imu, whose Uranus devastated Sabaody despite Natsu’s barriers protecting some civilians. As the Uchiha arrived, Fugaku declared their intent to take control of the sea and demanded the Marines and World Government forces choose their side.

• Madara fought Imu at Sabaody while the Marines struggled to shield the island from their attacks, and Uchiha Natsu watched from a distant island with the clan.
• Madara awakened the Rinnegan, repelled Imu’s assault, and summoned a meteor that Imu and the defenders shattered before Madara revealed a second, larger one.
• Natsu called on Kunwu to protect those who had taken no life, surrounding them with crimson-gold barriers as Imu used Uranus to destroy the second meteor and devastate Sabaody.
• Natsu located Uranus with his Mangekyō Sharingan, while Madara overpowered Imu and Garp watched the destruction and confronted Madara.
• Fugaku and the Night Owl Guard arrived, and Fugaku declared that the Uchiha had come to take control of the sea.
• Fugaku ordered the Night Owl Guard to advance and told the Marines and World Government forces to choose as Garp surveyed Sabaody’s wreckage and its battered survivors.

The Uchiha Clan and the Night Owl Guard fought the Marines, the God's Knights, and Imu as other powers prepared for a world without the World Government. Madara broke Imu's seal battle, but Imu escaped and failed to activate Uranus above Sabaody.

• Akainu, Garp, Sengoku, and the other Marines renewed their assault on Fugaku's forces, but the Night Owl Guard countered them across the battlefield.
• Madara repelled Imu's attack with Super Shinra Tensei, then sealed him inside Chibaku Tensei as the Navy and CP0 forces collapsed.
• Imu drained power from the Deep-Sea Contract's signers to weaken the seal, while Madara and the Night Owl Guard fought off attempts to interrupt him.
• Killing Hall and the Night Owl Guard confronted Shamrock, Saint Green, and the God's Knights as Madara struggled to keep Imu sealed.
• Whitebeard joined the Uchiha Clan's campaign, helping secure Reverse Mountain before his forces and the Nightingale Guard departed to attack Marine Branches in the North Blue.
• Linlin recalled her fleets, Shanks waited to see how the battle ended, Kaido accepted his defeat, and Dragon considered the Revolutionary Army's response to the changing order.
• The Night Owl Guard battled the God's Knights, whose members repeatedly revived, while Imu finally shattered Chibaku Tensei and emerged as a giant demon.
• Madara restrained Imu with Kotoamatsukami and Musu Prison, but Imu broke free, drew the Scepter of Uranus, and failed to make the weapon fire as Uranus was revealed above Sabaody.

After Imu’s defeat, the Uchiha Clan and Night Owl Guard fought the remaining Marines and God’s Knights, while Imu revived by consuming their life force and the power of Devil Fruit Users. Madara confronted Imu’s true form, but Imu kept breaking his sealed chains and growing stronger.

• Madara’s slash killed Imu and destroyed the King’s Weapons, while Imu’s death drained the demonic energy from the Celestial Dragons and left Uranus powerless.
• Fugaku ordered the Uchiha Clan to kill the survivors, and the Night Owl Guard defeated Ryokugyu, Kuzan, and Saint Figarland Garling as Sakazuki, Borsalino, and Garp fought back.
• Dark red threads from Mary Geoise drained the Five Elders and God’s Knights, while Madara used seals to protect his clansmen and sent a meteor toward the Holy Land.
• Shanks saved Saint Shamrock from the threads and faced the Night Owl Guard as Madara’s meteor fell, but Imu devoured the remnant souls and destroyed the meteor with a demonic spear.
• Imu emerged in his original form and fought Madara, whose Susanoo was damaged by Imu’s weapons even as the two reached a stalemate.
• Imu broke the seals on his stolen Origin power, drawing power from Devil Fruit Users around the world, while Madara entered Six Paths Sage Mode and pressed him with Susanoo and Six Paths Chakra.
• Imu broke more chains as Devil Fruit Users died and their power gathered around him, while Whitebeard protected his crew and Garp and Sengoku led the injured Marines away from Sabaody.

Natsu and Madara defeated Imu and the World Will, then Natsu claimed the Empty Throne and began imposing Uchiha rule across the seas. As the Night Owl Guard moved against the remaining pirate powers, Ace learned that Garp was sealed rather than killed.

• Madara fought Imu as the chains broke, then Natsu arrived and joined him in battle, ultimately destroying Imu’s demonic power with Sage Art: Heaven-Extinguishing Annihilation.
• The World Will emerged through the Pentagram Formation and unleashed Demon Entities, but Natsu, Madara, Fugaku, and the Uchiha forces fought back until Natsu sealed the World Will’s authority and freed Imu.
• Imu admitted defeat and disappeared, while Natsu drew a dark red crystal from her fading light and turned his attention to Joy Boy, stripping a phantom from Luffy soon afterward.
• After Takamagahara receded, Natsu explained to Madara that the Origin’s power was diminishing his humanity, then offered the surviving Marines a chance to submit.
• Sakazuki, Borsalino, Sengoku, Tsuru, and Garp refused to surrender, so Madara sealed them in Chibaku Tensei spheres for transport beneath Origin Island.
• Natsu reshaped the Empty Throne and declared the Uchiha Clan the world’s only God Race, then ordered forces to move against the Big Mom and Beasts Pirates and commanded Madara to bring him Marshall D. Teach’s head.
• Natsu summoned Shanks for a meeting in ten days and ordered Morgans to Mary Geoise, while Uchiha Yan told Whitebeard that the Night Owl Guard would help clear the North Blue.
• Yan told Ace that Garp had been sealed after refusing to surrender, and Whitebeard promised to help Ace arrange a visit with him.
