As long as the Dark Forge Meditation remained near an intelligent creature, it would continuously influence that creature, making them unable to resist the urge to cultivate.
This was the creation of a Sixth Order lifeform.
A Sixth Order lifeform was already an Unknowable Level powerhouse. If ordinary lifeforms learned of Yang Mu's existence, they would die on the spot. If someone recited his name, even across several worlds, Yang Mu could still sense it and descend through that name alone.
That was why many powerful Mages spread only their titles rather than their real names.
Like Yang Mu. Countless low-order Mages only knew him as the Dark Lord. Very few knew his true name, and the weakest among those who did were Fifth-Level Wizards.
The fact that the creation of such a terrifying existence had not directly mutated every creature it encountered into monsters was already thanks to its master, Yang Mu.
Back when Yang Mu captured that Fifth-Level Wizard Furnace Lord, he slaughtered the Furnace monsters of an entire world.
Those monsters had all once practiced the cultivation method spread by the Furnace Lord. The Furnace Lord's method was nowhere near as stable as Yang Mu's Dark Forge Meditation. One slight mistake would cause mutation, stripping them of reason and turning them into monsters that knew only how to burn.
The Undead sailed across the sea, with Jack personally at the helm. There was no helping it; he was the only person on the entire ship who had been to Shipwreck Island.
As for the others, they were either attempting to practice the Meditation Method in hopes of getting started as soon as possible, or reading late into the night by lamplight, hoping to learn more spells.
Even Jack, while he did not need to control the ship's course, leafed through some occult knowledge written by Yang Mu.
As for Yang Mu himself, he was crafting a new Undead Servant. The base material was Barrel's corpse. A corpse capable of turning into steel was enough for him to create a powerful servant at this stage.
Every Undead Servant that needed to be personally crafted had to be made into a type of undead suited to the traits of its base material, striving to bring out its greatest characteristics.
Barrel's corpse was clearly suited for a purely physical Undead Servant known as the Steel-Bone Tyrant.
Yang Mu first stitched up the corpse, then threw it into an amalgam specially prepared by him. With the Metal Life Refinement Formation assisting him, he transformed Barrel's cells into liquid-metal muscle fibers.
This allowed its steel transformation trait to break through the Apprentice Rank limit while retaining the kinetic properties of muscle tissue, forming a Steel Paradox Body.
After this step was completed, the wounds on Barrel's corpse completely vanished as well.
Yang Mu injected finely ground powder from fragments of an elite steel shattered warhammer into its spine, constructing a shockwave-conducting neural network to ensure control by the undead core.
Finally, he filled its abdomen with a Cave Spider's stomach sac to serve as an Acidic Power Furnace, granting it the ability Acid Overload.
After completing all this, Yang Mu had Jack search the sea for a storm.
Although Jack did not understand why Yang Mu wanted this done, even the Undead faced risks in a storm. It would not fall apart, but it could capsize. If it capsized, then aside from the Captain and Higgs, who possessed a Fishman transformation, everyone else would likely die, himself included.
Still, he obeyed Yang Mu's orders. Relying on his experience, he found a storm for Yang Mu three days later.
Yang Mu tied Barrel's nearly completed corpse to an iron pillar and sailed into the storm. Only after the corpse had been struck by lightning nine times did he throw it into an icy solution for its final quenching.
Only then did Yang Mu place it into the Undead Refinement Array and awaken it.
Yang Mu's first Steel-Bone Tyrant in this world was complete.

Name: Steel-Bone Tyrant Passive Abilities: Hard-Soft Paradox Body: In its normal state, it retains the elasticity of muscle. When attacked, it instantly hardens and can withstand an attack of up to 480 degrees. Once its body is damaged, amalgam will seep out from within to repair it. Acid Overload: Consumes the acid within its body to infuse its attacks with metal-corroding toxins. It can even release them in the form of poisonous mist. Once its acid falls below twenty percent, it will consume all remaining acid at once and enter a berserk state. Its speed and strength will greatly increase, but its defense will decrease by fifty degrees. Active Abilities: Thousand-Ton Stomp: Leaps up and crashes down, generating circular shockwaves with a radius of eight meters. Damage at the very center is 480 degrees, decreasing with distance. Attack intensity drops by forty degrees for every meter outward. Mercury Serpent Strangulation: Its arms transform into liquid-metal pythons that can bind a target and inject them with acid. Pain Resonance: Actively receives one attack and returns it to the enemy with double the effect, but it only works against contact-based physical attacks. For example, an enemy's knife slash or sword strike. This ability cannot take effect against arrows, cannonballs, magical ranged attacks, or energy attacks. It can only be used once every twenty-four hours. Using it repeatedly in a short period will damage the Steel-Bone Tyrant's body, and using it more than four times will directly render it useless.
After Yang Mu completed the creation of another First-Order Undead Servant, Shipwreck Island was nearly within reach.
As its name implied, Shipwreck Island was a floating island formed from countless damaged ships, a graveyard for vessels.
From afar, it resembled a True Dragon lying across the sea. Countless pirate ships surrounded it, moored nearby.
Its lights blazed brightly. There were taverns, shops, casinos, pirates and their twins, prostitutes.
Even from a distance, the clamor could be heard: pirates laughing loudly and drunkenly cursing, prostitutes shouting and moaning. This was the Abyss of depravity, a Heaven of money and fleshly desire.
Of course, it was also a Heaven for viruses and disease. But so what? For pirates who lived without knowing whether they would see tomorrow, AIDS was merely a chronic illness. Before disease could take their lives, they might die in tomorrow's plundering.
Although there were many pirate ships here—at a glance, no fewer than a thousand—the Undead was still among the strangest of them. After all, whose ship grew eight tentacles?
When entering the harbor, it even shoved aside other ships, clearing out a huge space for itself. Anyone who dared move it was lashed. What kind of ship was that? It was a damn lord.
Yang Mu and the others ignored the angry looks from the surrounding pirates and led the crew toward the island's interior.
As for leaving people behind to guard the ship? There was absolutely no need. Anyone who wanted to board first needed the Undead's consent, especially the consent of its eight tentacles.
And after boarding, they would also need excellent communication skills with over a hundred Undead Servants, lest those servants tear them apart and swallow them.
Finally, they would need to face a Werewolf Ghoul modified by a Necromancer proficient in mechanical occultism, one with the strength of a High-Level Apprentice. Only with its consent could they move the cargo aboard the ship.
As for sailing the ship away? Or selling it? Sorry, they would need the ability to drag it away while the Undead desperately resisted and attacked.
