After listening to Leon's explanation, Tony nodded thoughtfully in agreement.
As for the implication hidden in Leon's words—that he would definitely be able to defeat him—Tony did not find it strange at all. He understood perfectly well what the magical side was.
It simply did not play by the rules.
Tony was confident that if he understood Leon's abilities well enough, he might be able to win. But that was precisely the problem.
Someone who knew magic was truly difficult to restrain and difficult to understand.
A logical paradox.
After thinking for a moment, Tony asked again, "So, what are my chances of winning?"
That question made Leon hesitate somewhat.
After seriously weighing it, he still told the truth. "At present, my chances are slightly better."
"Is it because you have a lot of strange magic?"
"No."
Leon shook his head. "It's because I have a bigger health bar."
Seeing Tony's baffled expression, Leon explained further, "If the same bullet hit you and me, without your armor, you would be no different from an ordinary person on the street. But if I took a shot, it would be no big deal."
He pointed at his clothes and mask. "These things are magical items, in a sense. They grant me defense far beyond that of ordinary people. And for some reason, even if I get hurt, I'm very hard to kill. Not to mention..."
"I know."
Tony interrupted Leon. "You can use magic to heal yourself."
Tony was also a gamer. He understood what having a big health bar meant.
Leon was not worried at all about damaging Tony's confidence, because that was simply not something that could happen.
If Tony's confidence could be shaken that easily, would the Iron Man series have made it to a third movie?!
Not to
