Tom gave Muya a look, then headed toward Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy. Muya helplessly spread her hands and walked alongside Draco.
"Oh, Ya Ya, did you see the tickets I sent you?"
"It's the Quidditch World Cup! It's definitely going to be lively—I can't wait to see it!" Only after they had put some distance between themselves and the other three did Draco finally drop his composure and speak excitedly to Muya.
Muya nodded. "I saw them. I'm looking forward to it too. Thanks for the tickets, young master!" She handed the gift to Draco and flashed him a brilliant smile.
Draco felt his heart race, his face and ears heating up. He hurriedly took the gift box and tossed it aside, his ears flushed faintly red. "Let's go in."
The scene inside was somewhat different from what Muya had seen last year. There were noticeably fewer guests.
Muya looked around and saw Mrs. Zabini linking arms with a handsome wizard as she chatted merrily with the others.
In a corner, she spotted Blaise drinking alone. No one from the Nott family had come, since Theodore was nowhere to be seen.
"Let's go over to Blaise," Draco said. He had already let go of Muya. Though he felt somewhat reluctant, the upbringing he had received since childhood told him to be a gentleman, so he still released her hand.
"Sure."
As they approached, Blaise showed his second smile of the evening. He set down his cup and said with a smile, "Good thing you two came. Otherwise, I'd have been sitting here until the banquet ended."
They could both tell he was being deliberately dramatic and did not call him out on it.
