Muya saw Harry and the other two approaching, so she quickly said, "Oh, I see them. Fred, George, I'll come find you later to test out some new prank props."
"Okay, see you later, Mya Mu," George said, smoothing her hair.
"Mya Mu, see you later then. Don't forget about us brothers," Fred added with a half-joking smile.
Muya smiled and waved goodbye to them.
Muya pulled the bewildered trio to her vegetable garden and told them everything she knew.
"Nicolas Flamel? I think I've seen that name in a book," Hermione said, quite surprised. However, thinking that Dumbledore was involved, she calmed down.
"Actually, Ron and I went to ask Hagrid again last night. He only revealed that what Fluffy is guarding belongs to Nicolas Flamel," Harry said, shrugging.
"Oh, you guys went out gallivanting again last night!" Hermione glared at the guilty-looking Harry and Ron.
"Wait, are we missing the point? There's a dangerous person, or even several, inside the school right now!" Ron's mouth gaped open in fear.
Muya patted Ron's shoulder and calmly said, "Don't worry, Dumbledore is here anyway."
"Oh, right," Ron said, touching his head as if just realizing it.
"Are you going to keep investigating?" Muya asked the question she most wanted to know. She always felt that these three liked to go on adventures a bit.
"Probably not," Harry said, scratching his head.
"By the way, Mya Mu, will you be staying at school for Christmas next month?" Hermione asked.
"Yes, you know I will," Muya replied. After all, her home was in a trunk. "I'll prepare gifts for you all."
"Oh, we will too," Harry and Ron responded.
Hermione sighed. "I might go home, and I don't have an owl."
"I don't either," Muya said, looking at Hermione.
"It's okay, Hedwig will go," said Harry, the only one with an owl present.
The next day, before the surface of the Black Lake froze solid, Muya went to find the merman again.
"Hey, little wizard, coming to see me when it's this cold?" The merman broke through the ice on the lake and surfaced. Even in this cold weather, he was dressed... lightly.
Muya immediately handed him her scarf. "Aren't you merfolk afraid of the cold?"
Merman: ...
The merman looked at the yellow scarf in his hands and smiled. "Is this the third gift for our meeting?"
"Uh-huh," Muya nodded.
"Alright, I hope you can call me by my name from now on, Calori," Calori said, clutching the scarf tightly and feeling the residual warmth.
"Okay, Calori." Seeing that he was still holding the scarf, Muya thought he didn't know how to tie one and stepped forward to help him.
"Hmm?" Calori looked down at the scarf around his neck, then reached out and grabbed Muya's hand, smiling at her. "Thank you."
Time passed quickly. It was now mid-December, and Christmas was fast approaching. The school was covered in white. Muya was dragged into the snow by Fred and George to play.
"You two should wear gloves too," Muya said to them as she put on her own gloves.
"Okay, little badger," they replied, each pinching the pom-pom on Muya's hat.
After putting on their gloves, the three of them started building snowmen. Three snowmen of various shapes stood in a row. Fred and George exchanged a smile, took out their wands, and cast a spell at the two snowmen on the sides. The snowmen came to life.
The two similar snowmen started running around everywhere. Seeing this, the twins built a few more. These snowmen suddenly rushed in one direction.
Quirrell, just as he emerged from the castle, was attacked by a group of running snowmen. They furiously threw snowballs at him, most of them hitting his turban. Muya, who was building a snow house, looked up when she heard the commotion and was stunned.
At the critical moment, Professor McGonagall appeared. She immediately stopped all the snowmen. "Mr. Weasleys, I believe you deserve some punishment. Come with me."
Fred and George, who had been laughing moments before, instantly lost their smiles.
Muya crawled over and saw the two redheads following Professor McGonagall into the castle.
"Mya Mu," a familiar voice suddenly appeared behind her. It was Theodore and the others, carrying books.
"Hi, hello! Want to play in the snow together?" Muya patted her half-finished snow house and invited the group of little snakes.
"Oh, how can you sit on the ground? Please take my hand," Blaise said, pulling Muya up.
Theodore cast a warming charm on Muya. Draco, behind them, watched the three of them with his eyes darting around.
"No, we have to go to class soon," Draco said, pulling Blaise, who was unfurling his peacock tail.
"Mya Mu, I've prepared a Christmas present for you," Theodore said, looking Muya in the eyes.
Muya patted her clothes. "Thank you, Theodore. I've also prepared gifts for everyone, but I don't have an owl."
"That's okay..."
Before Theodore could finish, Draco immediately interjected, "Hmph, I've also prepared one. I'll have my owl find you then."
"Alright, class is starting soon. Let's go, let's go," he said, then pulled the other two away.
Muya pulled Hannah, who was having a snowball fight, to continue building the snow house. After finishing, she returned to the Great Hall to eat. Seeing Fred and George sitting at the Gryffindor table, Muya breathed a sigh of relief.
"Mya Mu, how long were you out playing in the snow today?" Cedric asked, glancing at Muya's red hands.
"Hmm... probably about three hours," Muya said, hugging the soup bowl in front of her for warmth.
"But we built a super big snow house, want to go take a look?"
"Of course." Cedric nodded with a smile.
After dinner, a group of people went to see the snow house that had been built. Sean felt it was a bit small, so he used magic to enlarge it. Now the snow house could fit all of them.
In the Headmaster's office that night, the same two people were there again, Dumbledore and Muya sitting face to face.
"Do you have a plan?" Muya, seeing that Dumbledore hadn't caught the culprit who harmed Harry and was trying to steal the Sorcerer's Stone for so long, came to the Headmaster's office for tea.
"Oh yes," Dumbledore pushed a cup of hot cocoa towards Muya, "Child, I didn't expect you to be so perceptive."
Muya: As expected of the greatest wizard, truly a schemer.
"Mya Mu, I was wondering if you could spend the summer with Severus?"
"Did Professor Snape agree?" Muya thought, Snape probably wouldn't agree, and... him taking care of a child?
"He agreed." Dumbledore chuckled at Muya's surprised expression.
Snape: Hmph.
