Background / History

Dumbledore and an unnamed friend brought Muya from another world, reduced her to the age of an eleven-year-old witch, and arranged her clothing, books, wand, and Hogwarts enrollment. He later explained that her home’s presence in the wizarding world was made possible by his friend’s mastery of the Undetectable Extension Charm. 5

After initially arranging all four Heads of House as Muya’s guardians alongside himself, Dumbledore declared himself her sole guardian despite her objection. He is subsequently recognized as her guardian by the Ministry and Hogwarts staff. 5 20 77

During Muya’s first year, Dumbledore safeguarded Nicolas Flamel’s Sorcerer’s Stone behind layered fourth-floor defenses, including Fluffy and Snape’s potion challenge.
