After leaving the classroom, Muya looked at the staircases that were still constantly moving and realized she had already been desensitized. This time, she smoothly went down the stairs with her three roommates and arrived at the Great Hall. (Hannah told her that in the West, they all called places like this the Great Hall, not the hall.)
Fine, fine. When in Rome. She understood.
When she saw lunch, Muya's eyes lit up. In front of her was a plate of chicken legs, a cake whose name she did not know, and a bowl of pumpkin soup.
As she ate, for some reason, the Gryffindor and Slytherin tables started getting lively. Muya only heard, "The Savior, Harry Potter, was late for his very first class."
The little boy she had seen at the Sorting, Harry Potter, was now burying his head and eating with his friend in embarrassment.
"Uh... why do they call Harry Potter The Savior?" Muya could not help asking.
"Merlin's baggy pants, you actually don't know?" Hannah set down the fork in her hand in surprise and looked at her.
Muya nodded. Oh, she really did not know. Harry Potter was just a little boy, yet he was actually this famous.
"Ahem, forgive Mya Mu, Hannah. Maybe news doesn't travel well in Eastern countries, so it's no big deal that she doesn't know." Susan took a small pudding and placed it on Muya's plate.
In the end, it was Shalian who told the whole story from start to finish, about how Harry Potter, when he was still a little baby, had defeated The Dark Lord.
Muya: Fine. If my parents both had to be killed, and then I had to defeat some dark evil force to gain huge fame, then I'd rather not have that fame at all.
After lunch, Muya asked them where the headmaster's office was. Her three friends still wanted to go with her, but Muya patted her chest and said with great confidence, "You don't need to worry. I've already memorized the route you just told me. Get some proper rest. I won't trouble you."
And so, under their half-believing, half-doubting gazes, Muya pulled her suitcase out of the common room.
Muya felt that her suitcase was light and airy, as if it had no weight at all, but how exactly had her house been packed inside?
Still, that made things convenient for her. She was just huffing and puffing as she dragged the suitcase and was about to start climbing the stairs when a voice called out to her.
"Mya Mu?" Muya turned around and saw that it was Cedric. He was holding a book and standing behind Muya with his friends. It looked like they were going to class.
"Good afternoon, Cedric. Mm... and your friends too. Hello."
"Oh, is this the first-year junior from the East?" This was said by a boy with yellow hair.
"Look, her hair and eyes are both black!" This was said by a boy with black hair.
"Wow, Merlin, what is she pulling?" This was still said by the boy with yellow hair.
Muya felt like her head was about to explode. Don't look at her like you're visiting the zoo, hey!
"All right, all right, Sean and Wester, we should go to class." Seeing Muya's increasingly clear gaze, Cedric quickly spoke up and stopped his two friends.
"Oh, junior Mya Mu, I'm Sean Thor."
"I'm Wester Shambiya. Nice to meet you, Mya Mu."
"See you next time, junior Mya Mu!" The two waved at Muya.
"See you at dinner, Mya Mu." Cedric gave Muya a toffee.
"Bye!" Muya took it happily, then waved wildly at the three of them.
Muya decided to use the Levitation Charm she had just learned that morning to make the suitcase float and follow her.
She took out her wand and aimed it at the suitcase. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Then her hand gave a light flick, and magic wrapped around the suitcase, making it float.
"Hmph hmph ╯^╰, a tiny little spell, totally handled."
By the time she finally reached the castle top floor, Muya was almost exhausted. No, seriously, whose headmaster's office was this high up!
And along the way, there had been a crowd of students curiously staring at this passing Little Badger, as well as the suitcase floating behind her...
Muya saw a huge stone beast. Just as she was still wondering how to get to the headmaster's office, the stone beast spoke. "Stand on the stairs behind me and you'll reach the headmaster's office, little wizard."
Oh, fine. She did not need to think anymore. But she had not been thinking for long, right? Why did the stone beast look as if it did not want to be stared at by her? It had actually gotten so annoyed that it opened its mouth and spoke.
Muya stepped onto the stairs, and then it rolled Muya away like a front-loading washing machine.
Muya: Dizzy, so dizzy ๑_๑
After she recovered, she saw that the door was already open, but she still knocked.
"Oh, come in quickly, child." It was the Old Mischief-Maker's voice. After Muya heard permission, she entered the office.
The first thing Muya saw was the entire wall of moving portraits, and she could not help blurting out, "So cool!"
"Oh, this child is truly honest."
"Look at her black hair and black eyes. She looks a bit like Black."
"Hmph, the Black family would never have anyone who went to Hufflepuff."
For a moment, it went quiet. The other portraits thought inwardly, but they did have someone who went to Gryffindor.
Dumbledore spoke. "These are all the headmasters of past generations. I hope they didn't frighten you."
Muya shook her head. She held the suitcase out for him to see. "Headmaster, I might be hallucinating. Last night, I suddenly went inside my suitcase, and I even saw my family's house and my cat inside!"
Dumbledore's eyes twinkled, his tone extremely calm. "Oh, child, perhaps that wasn't a hallucination?"
Muya did not understand what he meant. She only saw Dumbledore reach out and open her suitcase.
The next second, the two of them vanished from the spot.
Muya once again saw the familiar lawn, as well as Dumbledore, the Old Mischief-Maker, standing beside her.
"Oh, the air here is truly wonderful. Come, Mya Mu, let's go into your house together." Dumbledore winked his left eye at Muya. Hah, Old Mischief-Maker.
"Speaking of which, this is my second time coming to your house today." This sentence from Dumbledore was simply a critical hit to Muya.
"What?" Her head was buzzing now. When had Dumbledore, this Old Mischief-Maker, come to her house? Why didn't she remember!
"Look, we're already at the door." Clearly, Dumbledore had no intention of explaining it to her right now.
Fine (¬_¬), I'll remember this.
Muya opened the door and saw the familiar living room. She hurried inside, then faced Dumbledore. "This is my house. Please leave."
The above was her imagination.
After entering the house, she sat down on the sofa, and then bounce, bounce, bounce.
Wow, her sofa was still this springy. She got up again to turn on the television. OK, it worked. She ran to the kitchen again and turned on the tap. OK, there was water.
Dumbledore, meanwhile, sat on the sofa and cheerfully watched Muya run back and forth.
Muya took a bag of chips from the refrigerator, sat down on the sofa again, then picked up the television remote and started watching TV.
Dumbledore: Child, if you would so much as turn your head, you'd see that there's one more person in your house.
