As the start of the school year approached, Snape told Muya to pack her things and head to Platform 9 3/4 by herself to catch the train. Fortunately, Muya remembered the way.
Muya didn't have much luggage, just a trunk was enough.
She wondered who had modified her trunk for her; it was truly excellent. Dumbledore would know, she could ask him later.
Muya, pulling her small trunk, weaved through the crowds of men and women each carrying their own trunks, feeling a bit out of place.
She reached the area between platforms nine and ten and immediately spotted familiar faces.
The Weasley family, along with Harry and Hermione, were also there.
"Hi, Madam, Sir, and friends," Muya said, walking over with her trunk and offering a greeting.
"Oh, child, you must be Mya Mu," Mrs. Weasley asked with a smile.
Muya nodded, "Yes, Madam."
Muya saw Ron and Harry looking relieved. "What's wrong?"
"They're scared Snape might follow you!" Fred and George covered their mouths, giggling secretly.
"You two, stop messing around, it's time to go in." Percy glanced at his watch, his serious demeanor making Muya fall silent.
"Alright children, I'll take Ginny in first, you can follow one by one." Mrs. Weasley took Ginny and rushed towards the pillar, disappearing instantly.
Percy and Mr. Weasley followed.
The Weasley twins were right behind them. Hermione told Muya to go ahead, and Muya nodded in agreement.
Muya waited for Hermione, and they boarded the train together. They sat with Ginny, and the three girls quickly started chatting.
"What's the Sorting Ceremony like?" Ginny asked with anticipation, reminding Muya of the same day last year when she was bewilderedly sorted into Hufflepuff by the mind-reading Sorting Hat.
Muya glanced at Hermione. "Can I say?"
Hermione shook her head. "No, but it won't be like what his brothers said."
Ginny had indeed asked her brothers. The twins had said it involved fighting a troll, and Ron had said it involved taming a three-headed dog... in short, it was unreliable.
Watching the scenery pass by, Muya suddenly saw a car flying above the train.
Muya: ...Huh?
"Hermione, Hermione, there's a car above the train!" Muya tugged at Hermione, who was reading.
Hermione thought Muya might be hallucinating. A car above the train? Impossible, who would be so bold.
"Merlin's beard! It's Ron and Harry!" Ginny's mouth dropped open in shock.
Hermione: ...
Muya: ...
So, Harry and Ron hadn't boarded the train at all, and they had stolen a car from home, planning to drive it to Hogwarts.
Hermione and Muya switched seats. Hermione rested her head against the window, watching the train. The car was still some distance away, and the wind was strong. She tried calling out to them a few times, but they didn't respond.
Although she didn't know why they were driving a car to get there, she just hoped they would arrive at the school safely.
Muya and the other two got off the train. Draco, who was ahead, saw them and walked over. "Mya Mu, you've made friends with another Weasley?"
Draco frowned as he looked at Ginny beside Muya, but Muya clearly didn't notice.
"Wow, Draco, you're not using hair gel today. You look really good like this." Muya's sincere compliment made Draco swallow the words of complaint he was about to utter.
"Of course, I'm naturally handsome," he said. During the summer, Muya had sent a letter to Malfoy Manor saying she wanted to see him without hair gel this new semester, and that he would surely look good that way.
Draco: It's not because of Mya Mu that guy, it's because I wanted to change my hairstyle.
Draco walked ahead, his ears red.
Hermione hadn't paid any attention to Draco the whole time. She knew that if any professor saw Harry and Ron arriving by car, they would deduct points from their House!
Hermione and Muya had no choice but to stay obediently in the Great Hall, or they would also lose points. Ginny was waiting for the Sorting.
"Ya Ya, come sit opposite me," Cedric waved at Muya.
Muya nodded and walked over.
This intimate nickname startled Sean and Vester beside him. "Ya Ya?!"
"Cedric, why are you suddenly calling Mya Mu by her given name?" Sean pouted.
"You can call me Ya Ya too," Muya said, touching her head. "Besides, I think I've always called you by your given names."
Sean and Vester also smiled.
It was now time for the Sorting Ceremony. The familiar process was the same as always. Professor McGonagall held the Sorting Hat and placed it on each first-year student's head. Ginny, as she had wished, was sorted into Gryffindor. Just as Ron had said, their whole family was in Gryffindor.
However, outside the castle, suddenly, a car flew straight towards the Whomping Willow. After being attacked by the Whomping Willow, it reversed and then spat out Harry, Ron, and their luggage before speeding off into the depths of the Forbidden Forest.
The two of them ran to the entrance of the Great Hall, watching the Sorting Ceremony inside.
"Oh, Harry, look, Snape isn't in his seat," Ron said.
"Maybe he's sick and didn't come today," Harry said, peeking through the door. He saw Muya clapping.
Ron said excitedly, "Maybe Dumbledore fired him. You know, so many people at school don't like him."
"Perhaps—" a cold voice sounded from behind them, "he's waiting to hear why the two of you didn't take the school bus."
Black robes, a hooked nose, and greasy black hair – it was Severus Snape, who was not in his seat in the Great Hall.
Harry and Ron were devastated.
Snape was delighted.
Muya was still wondering why Snape hadn't returned to the Great Hall yet.
The three who were now absent were in an underground classroom.
Muya went to find Hermione. "Haven't Harry and Ron arrived yet?"
Hermione shook her head. "I haven't seen either of them."
Then, under Muya and Hermione's gaze, McGonagall and Dumbledore left their seats together.
Muya had a bad feeling. "Something might have happened to them."
Hermione guessed it too. Snape must have caught the two of them. Oh, what was going on with those two?
Muya returned to the Hufflepuff table, and soon she knew what had happened to Harry and the others.
She thought that Harry and Ron definitely didn't take the car to school on purpose; they wouldn't do something like that just for thrills.
Some students said it was too cool, while others said they would definitely be expelled.
Dumbledore would never expel Harry, because he was the Savior from the prophecy.
Muya returned to the common room.
She would go see Harry and the others tomorrow.
