The next morning, Muya woke up with two dark circles under her eyes. "Morning... Hannah, Susan, Shalian..."
"Merlin's beard, Ya Mu, did you stay up all night fighting a troll or something?" Muya startled—wait, this magical world actually had trolls?!
"Uh, no, not that... Hannah, I just stayed up late playing games last night." Suddenly, Muya heard some rustling from inside her blankets.
"Ya Mu, what's your pet doing on the bed?" Shalian pointed at Qiqi, who had already poked out a head and was licking its paws.
Damn, she'd accidentally brought Qiqi out last night.
Muya pressed a hand to her forehead, but she had no time to stuff it back into her trunk. She needed to hurry up and eat breakfast, then come back to sleep.
"Let's just eat first..." Muya said weakly to the three girls.
"Oh Merlin, Ya Mu's starving to death!" Hannah, you...
"Good morning, everyone... Ya Mu, did you not rest well last night?" Cedric was about to start eating when he spotted Muya with her two dark circles, being supported by Hannah and Susan as they walked.
"Hey... Ce... dric..." Muya flopped onto the table, grabbed a piece of Dry Bread, and stuffed it into her mouth.
"Have some milk." Cedric placed a cup of warm milk in front of Muya. Vester glanced at Cedric, while Sean cheerfully chatted with Hannah and the others about interesting things at Hogwarts.
"Thanks, Cedric. I feel like if I keep eating this, I'll turn into dry bread myself." It was time to start cooking her own meals. She'd thought her college entrance exam scores would keep her from becoming a study-abroad student, but she never expected this day to come!
"Then have some of this pudding too. I noticed you like it." Those gray eyes sparkled as they fixed on Muya. She noticed Cedric also had some desserts laid out in front of him.
After eating, Muya said goodbye to them and went back to the dorm to sleep. When she woke up, it was time for her date with Hermione at the library... no wait, her date with English.
Muya spotted a familiar figure in the corridor—it was Hermione, holding a book in her arms, looking like she'd just come from class.
"Hey, Hermione." Muya jogged over to her. Since she had no classes that morning, Muya hadn't worn her Wizard Robe, opting instead for a Skirt.
As she ran, the wind lifted the hem, revealing her fair, smooth legs.
Hermione paused, then recognized Muya and smiled, waving back.
Muya stopped in front of Hermione. "Phew, Hermione, are you free today?"
Before Hermione could answer, a red-haired boy behind her spoke up. "I know you! You're that Easterner in our year!"
Muya's mind went blank. Wait, what? Me? Since when was I so famous?
"Hi... hello, I'm Harry. Harry Potter." Oh, Muya knew him—Sean had mentioned him a couple of times over the past few days.
"Hello, I'm Ron Weasley." The red-haired Ron rubbed his head sheepishly.
"Hello, I'm Ya Mu." Then, Muya instinctively bowed. Across from her, Ron and Harry exchanged a glance. Though they didn't understand, they copied Muya's gesture anyway.
"Oh, Ya Mu, we need to get to the library now. If we wait any longer, it'll be lunchtime." Hermione glanced at the two boys, then pulled Muya away.
"Okay, see you later, Ron and Harry!"
"Oh, Ya Mu's definitely a Ravenclaw—she actually went to the library with Granger." Ron watched their retreating figures.
"Uh... Ron, actually, Ya Mu's a Hufflepuff." Harry corrected him.
"Huh?"
"Hermione, I don't get this." Muya pointed at a word in the book and whispered to Hermione.
"Hermione..."
Only after leaving the library did Hermione finally speak at a normal volume. "Phew, good thing we kept our voices down, or Madam Pince would've noticed us."
"Hehe."
"Let's go eat now. I feel like studying for a bit has already worn me out." Muya hugged two books Hermione had recommended.
Muya followed Hermione and naturally ended up at the Gryffindor table.
"Hey, Little Badger."
"What's a Hufflepuff doing in the Lion Den?"
"Hello, Mr. Twins. I still need to ask Hermione some questions after dinner." Muya set down her books and answered the two.
"Oh~ Mr. Twins, not a bad name. But you can call me Fred Weasley."
"Such a studious Little Badger. I'm George Weasley. Call me whatever you like."
Muya found the two hilarious. "Okay, I'm—"
"Ya Mu!" Fred and George answered in unison.
"Oh, we know you." George picked up a pudding.
"From last time, when we heard your friends calling you." Fred grabbed a slice of cake. The two clinked their food together in perfect sync.
Muya nodded while eating, giving a half-hearted reply. "Wow, you guys are so amazing!"
"Pfft! Sorry, go on." Hermione couldn't help but laugh, then buried her head back in her food.
"Oh~ how heartbreaking..." Fred placed the cake in front of Muya.
"And the Little Badger just brushes us off like that..." George put on a pitiful expression, then set the pudding next to the cake.
Muya: ...Why do I suddenly feel this pang of guilt?
"Thanks for the cake and pudding, Fred and George. A little to the upper left..." Ah, spit, wrong channel.
"Wrong guess! I'm George."
"And I'm Fred!"
"Alright, Mr. Twins, let's just keep eating!" Muya chose to shut up.
"Oh..." Fred and George were a bit disappointed that Muya hadn't played their "Guess who's Fred and who's George" game, but they obediently ate their food and stopped bothering her.
Muya looked up and suddenly caught Cedric from the Hufflepuff table staring at her. She smiled and waved at him, and Cedric waved back in response.
After finishing the meal, Muya felt a bit drowsy. Hermione suggested they go to the School Hospital to get some Brain-refreshing potion, and Muya agreed—she hadn't explored the School Hospital yet!
"Madam Pomfrey, we'd like two bottles of Brain-refreshing potion." Oh, Hermione even knew the school nurse here. Cool.
Madam Pomfrey examined the two carefully, confirming they had no other injuries, then said, "Alright, little witches. The Brain-refreshing potion here was just brought over by Professor Snape. Take them."
"Wow, all of these are it?" Muya pointed at the huge pile of small bottles, her face a picture of shock.
"Professor Snape is really something!" Hermione gave Muya a complicated look. It seemed she hadn't taken Potions class yet and hadn't witnessed Professor Snape's terror.
