"What happened here, Uchiha Shunichi?" Gekko Hayate arrived quickly, yet he still felt as though he had come too late.
"Orochimaru and a red-haired woman came here, but they didn't go all out." As Uchiha Shunichi tidied the messy room, he spoke to Gekko Hayate.
Since they were not in the Anbu, Gekko Hayate pretended not to know him well.
"Orochimaru... I understand. Do you need any help here?" Gekko Hayate immediately understood and asked.
"Not for now. I can tell that Orochimaru does have some interest in Sasuke, but his goal goes far beyond that. Don't waste your strength on our account. He has a deeper plan." Uchiha Shunichi kindly warned him, but did not provide any useful leads.
"I understand. I'll report what happened here to Lord Hokage." Gekko Hayate nodded and left.
Uchiha Shunichi watched Gekko Hayate's departing figure. He wanted to say something, but ultimately remained silent.
This guy has treated me fairly well. If he isn't unlucky enough to die in the next few days, I'll find a way to save him.
Uchiha Shunichi remembered that Gekko Hayate had died before Sarutobi Hiruzen, but he did not know exactly when.

"I don't know. That's just what Lord Orochimaru said." Karin did not care in the slightest. She moved close to Uchiha Shunichi, looking exceptionally obedient.
Uchiha Shunichi ignored Karin and instead shifted his gaze to Yakushi Kabuto.
"I came on my own. The rest has nothing to do with me." Yakushi Kabuto spread his hands, indicating that he meant no harm.
"Oh? Then what did you come to see me for?" Uchiha Shunichi was surprised, but he did not pay much attention to it.
Compared with Orochimaru, neither Karin nor Yakushi Kabuto could pose much of a threat to him. Even without revealing too much of his strength, he could deal with them.
"Do you... truly know of a way to resurrect someone? A genuine resurrection!" Yakushi Kabuto glanced at Karin, hesitated for a moment, then asked.
"Of course!" Uchiha Shunichi answered without the slightest hesitation.
Clearly, Orochimaru had not told Yakushi Kabuto what he knew. That meant the information Uchiha Shunichi had traded to Orochimaru before could be traded once again.
