If these Root members couldn't use the Flying Thunder God, there probably wouldn't even be ashes left of them.
"Let's go," Mirai said to Nonō. "You're coming with me to the Land of Rain."
Nonō froze for a moment. "The Land of Rain?"
"That's right! There are a few people over there who need someone skilled in intelligence work. You're the best fit."
Nonō fell silent for two seconds, then nodded. "All right."
By the time they left the warehouse, the sun was already sinking westward.
Mirai had Minato go to the Hokage Building to notify the Anbu to collect the prisoners, while he took Kushina, Naori, and Nonō to the village gate first.
When Minato returned, the four of them, along with Nonō, made five in total as they set off toward the Land of Fire's border.
Mirai did not travel slowly along the way, but he did not deliberately rush either.
Kushina walked at the front, occasionally glancing back at Nonō before sidling up to Mirai and asking in a low voice:

"That's right, them." Mirai said. "Yahiko and Nagato dream of peace in the Shinobi World. I had them establish an organization last time, but they're short on someone who understands intelligence work."
"Nonō is a professional in that field."
Mirai tilted his head and glanced at Nonō, who was quietly following behind them. "She's a smart woman. She knows which side she should stand on."
Two days later, the five of them arrived at the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rain.
The border outpost was built atop a relatively high hill, surrounded by fences and two trenches.
