Day after day passed like that.
Lately, Mirai's life could be summed up in four words: painful but blissful.
Kushina and Naori had somehow reached an understanding. One took a day, then the other took the next. They had it all worked out.
When he spent the day with Kushina, she clung to him from morning till night. One moment she wanted a kiss, the next a hug. She hung off his arm while they shopped, rode on his back on the way home, and still wanted to cling to him that night.
Days with Naori were much quieter. They browsed bookstores, sat by the river, and occasionally sparred with ninjutsu. But when she looked at him with those Sharingan eyes, the meaning in her gaze was no more subtle than Kushina's.

Tsunade was another story entirely. Most days, she was run off her feet at the hospital. On the rare occasions he ran into her at home, one look told him how worked up she was.
If she was especially worked up, they had to go to the bathroom to "cool her off." If not, they sat under the veranda drinking tea while she directed him to cook for Yugito and Konan.
That afternoon, Mirai stood in the middle of the training ground at the Senju Clan Compound, arms folded, with the two younger girls before him.
Konan and Yugito!
