After all, the Sharingan saw the flow of Chakra, and White Zetsu could perfectly mimic his target's Chakra fluctuations.
What he did not know, however, was that a barely perceptible trace of wariness had entered Naori's eyes the moment she heard, "Tsunade sent me to Takigakure."
Tsunade had spent all of yesterday working at the hospital. She could not have suddenly sent Mirai to deliver something to Takigakure.
But Naori did not let it show. She simply kept walking, waiting to see what this "Mirai" intended to do.
Someone had actually dared to impersonate Mirai—and so convincingly, too!

The two walked for most of the day, and the sky gradually darkened.
The terrain along either side of the main road began to change. Flat fields gave way to rolling hills, and the distant silhouettes of mountains blurred in the dusk.
"Naori, there seems to be a shortcut up ahead." Black Zetsu, disguised as Mirai, pointed toward an inconspicuous path to the side.
"We can save quite a bit of time this way. It takes us straight around to the back of Takigakure."
Naori glanced at the path, then at their surroundings.
Of course, this was no shortcut. They had already reached the vicinity of the Mountain Graveyard.
Black Zetsu merely wanted to bring her a little closer.
She did not know the way, but she sensed something was wrong.
