Ark Simulator, Don't I Have No Physical Form?
"Okay, that makes things easier." Su Rui nodded. "I don't usually have that much to do, so telling you stories occasionally is nice. By the way, I can record them as videos and upload them online so you can listen to them anytime, anywhere."
Lamalain's eyes lit up, then she glanced hesitantly at the Banshee beside her, before looking at Su Rui with some difficulty. "However, there's a problem."
"Any other problems? Go ahead and ask." The rest of the questions were probably minor, right? Su Rui didn't mind; they were small things that could be resolved quickly. If she agreed, she agreed; if she was in a good mood, she'd help; if not, she'd take her time; and if all else failed, she'd let them handle it themselves.
Under Su Rui's gaze, Lamalain's tone couldn't help but take on a hint of shyness and awkwardness:
"I don't know much about the technology out there, so if possible, could you prepare both a record version and a cassette tape version?"
"... Okay, it's just a side thing. I'll just set up a small production line later. By the way, in that case, you'll have to pay for the records and tapes. Also, the way tapes are stored isn't very reliable; they might not even last as long as you guys."
Lamalain nodded. "It's alright, we'll remember every story."
So, once you hear the story just once, the cassette tape can be kept as a collectible, right?
Su Rui nodded and looked at the Banshee:
"So, my part of the contract is complete. Banshee, how many of you are willing to come back to Babel with me? By the way, the production line is, of course, located within the Babel area, so going to Babel will guarantee a higher priority supply of tapes and records."
Prince of Kazdel: 330, where are you? You weren't even at the Babel!
Perhaps some of the Banshee would happily agree to follow after hearing Su Rui's conditions?
Su Rui originally thought that Babel would give him priority access to the tapes and records Su Rui provided.
This appealing approach is somewhat similar to game developers offering a deluxe edition that allows players to play the game a few days earlier.
Many game developers rely on presentations to launch their games, yet they still dare to offer deluxe edition pre-orders and rake in a lot of money. Su Rui felt that her story was more reliable and would definitely be more effective than the strategies of game developers.
However, to Su Rui's surprise, after he finished speaking, almost two-thirds of the Banshee in front of him looked at him with excitement, wanting to approach Su Rui and sign up.
Why are there so many people? Have they been cooped up in the Valley of Tears for too long and are they going to go stir-crazy?
Su Rui, somewhat puzzled and wary, stepped back to shield Theresa in front of him. If so many people got close, the crowd would be enough to sweep him away.
As Su Rui reacted, Theresa couldn't help but smile with pleasure. She raised her hand to shield Su Rui behind her, while Lamalain cleared her throat.
The previously bustling and excited Banshee fell silent, but their gazes remained fixed on Su Rui.
The same was true of Lamalain; even through the veil, Su Rui could see the look in her eyes, as if she were gazing at some kind of tempting treasure.
"Then let's take stock of those who want to go to the Babel. Also, someone must stay here to guard our land and the library."
As Lamalain spoke, she looked at the Banshee, who were becoming restless again because of her words:
"Raise your hand if you want to go."
Then a huge number of hands shot up from the underground library, which looked quite spectacular; it would have been even better if their hands were right and raised at a 45-degree angle.
Su Rui couldn't help but chuckle at her own idea, then looked at the large group of people in front of her and was momentarily at a loss. She couldn't possibly take all of them back at once. What should she do?
There's only one aircraft, and even if you stuff people inside like cotton balls, you can only fit a dozen or so people in the cabin at most.
Su Rui didn't plan to build more or larger aircraft, so Su Rui turned her gaze to Theresa and whispered in her ear:
"So, do you have a way to bring so many people back? An aircraft definitely can't carry that many people."
The other Banshee, who had just arrived, twitched their pointed ears, not quite understanding the situation. Not knowing whether they should pretend not to hear, they raised their hands to greet Su Rui: "Don't worry, we have our own way of traveling, we'll reach the Babel soon."
"Really?" Su Rui paused for a moment. "Then should I provide you with a map?"
"That would be wonderful!"
The Banshee were delighted, but Su Rui was puzzled. The Banshee hadn't heard her whispers with Theresa in the quiet underground library, so how did this Banshee hear them now? Was she special?
Su Rui glanced at the Banshee with suspicion, made a note of her, but did nothing more, simply watching the Banshee continue their statistics.
Lamalain simply watched as the Banshee selected their members and conducted the votes. All she had to do was stand there and use her influence to maintain order.
So after seeing the Banshee calm down, Su Rui went straight to Lamalain's side. Theresa seemed worried about his safety, so she stayed close to Su Rui and didn't leave his side.
"Now that this matter is settled, Theresa and I should leave. Goodbye. Here's a map of the Babel and the Valley of Tears area, marked with some potential dangers. Please be careful."
As Su Rui spoke, she took out several maps from her System Space and handed them to Lamalain.
The mistress of the Valley of Tears smiled and nodded to Su Rui in gratitude.
"Don't worry, although the Banshee rarely leave the Valley of Tears, we understand our fellow Sarkaz and Kazdel, and we know how to avoid danger. But, Su Rui is leaving already? Traveling with the Banshee and us would be a great experience."
Lamalain extended an invitation to Su Rui, but Su Rui was concerned about something else:
"So you're coming in person and leading your own team? That puts my mind at ease. After all, you're the Queen of the Banshee Court. With you here, I don't have to worry about so many things."
As Su Rui spoke, she nodded as if she completely agreed with herself.
Lamalain realized that her words had cost her a chance to get along with Su Rui, and the corners of her mouth, which had been turned up, involuntarily turned down.
However, Lamalain didn't show any negative emotions in front of Su Rui. After quickly composing herself, Lamalain looked at Su Rui and said, "In that case, I wish you a safe journey. I need to hurry back to Babel. Arranging accommodations for you with so many Banshee is indeed a problem."
Su Rui smiled and waved goodbye to Lamalain.
Theresa followed Su Rui, walking with him towards the outside of the Great Underground Library.
Thanks to her excellent hearing, Lamalain also overheard Theresa and Su Rui's conversation as they were leaving.
"Su Rui, do you have any plans for arranging accommodations for the Banshee?"
"I don't have a plan, but I've already tallied up the number of Banshee who will be going. There might be one or two who change their minds, but the number will be roughly the same as my prediction. Anyway, we'll definitely need to leave some extra capacity when building the accommodation area."
As Su Rui said this, she shrugged. "The main problem is that if I design the accommodation area, I'm prone to making the same mistakes that strategy games often make. If the Banshee's accommodation area stands out in the Babel, it might cause some conflicts. So let the Doctor consider this issue."
"So that's how it is."
Su Rui and Theresa walked out of the Great Underground Library and stretched in the evening moonlight. "What bad timing! I was hoping to bask in the sun. The sun in the library is very realistic, but it's not warm at all."
"After all, it is a creation of magic."
Theresa smiled and nodded, then sat down with Su Rui in the cabin of the aircraft, embarking on their journey back to Babel.
By the time we reached the Babel, dawn was already breaking.
For some reason, Wis'adel was sitting in the hangar idly playing with a dagger. When the aircraft's hatch opened, he pounced on it.
"Su Rui! Where did you go all day yesterday?"
Prince Kazdel: 331 I'm going to remotely control my phone and blow you up!
"Don't worry, I went out and read a few books, and found some decent logistical allies for Babel. If anyone dares to attack our lines, our logistics will instantly become war sorcerers."
Su Rui looked at Wis'adel who was lunging at her, and simply raised her hand to press down on Wis'adel's cheek to immobilize her.
As a result, Wis'adel rushed too fast and knocked Su Rui into her arms, then carried Su Rui away for a while.
Su Rui was nearly knocked over by Wis'adel's collision, but fortunately Wis'adel reacted quickly, picked Su Rui up, and even took him around a corner, running back to Theresa.
At this moment, Wis'adel finally had time to greet Theresa: "Your Highness, you're back too!"
"Yeah, Su Rui and I went out to relax for a bit."
Theresa gave Wis'adel a meaningful smile. Although she was actually there to recruit Banshee, Su Rui spent almost the entire time eating snacks and playing on her phone beside Theresa, so it was a kind of relaxation, at least that's how it appeared.
But Theresa deliberately said it this way, definitely to make Wis'adel think too much.
Su Rui gave Theresa a disgruntled look, and was about to say something when Wis'adel lowered his head and sniffed her neck intensely.
"Yes, there is indeed a hint of His Highness's scent, but it's not that strong. You two probably only spent some time together."
However, although he didn't say it aloud, Wis'adel still turned his gaze to Su Rui:
"Su Rui, what did you and His Highness do?"
"Didn't I just say? I went out with Theresa to recruit allies and read a few books along the way."
As Su Rui spoke, she jumped down from Wis'adel's arms, then took a media player and several cassette tapes from her System Space and stuffed them into Wis'adel's arms:
"This is a gift for you. It contains my voice, telling all sorts of stories, and of course, some ancient Sarkaz songs, which I also sing."
"You went out and got this yesterday?" Wis'adel looked at the gift in his arms, happy but also a little curious as he looked at Su Rui.
"Yes, this is a byproduct, but in some people's eyes, it's the most important thing, isn't it?" Su Rui thought of those young Banshee who didn't like reading but loved listening to New Age commentary. Young people also have their own refined hobbies, which the older generation can't understand.
As Su Rui spoke, she walked towards the interior of the Babel, yawning as she did so.
"Speaking of which, it's the middle of the night, aren't you asleep?" Su Rui looked at Wis'adel with suspicion. "I don't remember assigning you any tasks today."
"You've been gone all day! I was worried about you!" Wis'adel looked at Su Rui with a hint of annoyance, then realized what he had said and became a little shy.
However, Wis'adel expressed her shyness in a rather unique way; she playfully bumped her shoulder in displeasure.
"You're the commander of the team. It's really worrying to just disappear for a whole day without saying a word, you understand? Next time you're going to do something, at least let us know, otherwise we'll treat it as if you've been kidnapped."
"Okay, okay, I heard you. But I remember I reported it to the Doctor, and there should be a record of the spacecraft leaving. So you didn't ask anyone and just made your own assumptions, did you?"
Faced with Su Rui's question, Wis'adel somewhat guiltily avoided Su Rui's gaze and coughed lightly. "So, what are our plans next?"
"Of course there is, but you should go and get some rest first. We'll make our move tonight. Go to sleep! If you can't sleep, just lie in bed and play my tape; you'll fall asleep quickly."
Su Rui stood with her hands on her hips, bossing Wis'adel around, but Wis'adel didn't get angry; she just pretended to scoff and said, "I know."
"Say you love me," Wis'adel said, turning to leave. Su Rui glanced at Theresa and said, "I'm a little sleepy too. I'll go back and rest."
Theresa nodded, but followed Su Rui toward Su Rui's bedroom.
"What are you going to do?" Su Rui turned to look at Theresa. "You're not really planning something on me, are you?"
"Since you've already given me this assessment, Su Rui, wouldn't it be better if I just did it?"
Theresa came to Su Rui's side and, as she walked alongside him, put her arm around Su Rui neck to prevent him from escaping. At the same time, she covered Su Rui's mouth with her fingers to prevent him from shouting.
"You really have a lot of little schemes up your sleeve."
Su Rui didn't struggle in Theresa's arms, but leaned against her soft, round breasts, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"I always felt that your movements were a bit too sleazy."
"What do you mean?" Theresa was taken aback, not understanding that it was Su Rui's meaning.
"What I mean is, making such intimate gestures in public, especially with such an arrogant posture, makes you look like a thug. And could you please stop touching me like that?"
Even though Su Rui was a boy, he always felt that Theresa's hands were deliberately *sexually assaulting him.
"..." Theresa awkwardly pulled her arm away, but didn't let go of Su Rui. Instead, she looked around and asked Su Rui, "So, there shouldn't be anyone passing by nearby, right?"
"What else did you think? It's a time when everyone is still asleep."
Su Rui rolled her eyes but didn't stop Theresa any longer, only reminding her, "Be a little quieter now, I'm a little itchy."
"Okay, I understand." This sentence meant she was tacitly acknowledging the intimacy. Theresa couldn't help but smile smugly. She took advantage of the situation and picked up Su Rui in one swift motion, quickly heading towards Su Rui's bedroom.
"Don't think you've won. You'll have to go out eventually, right? Be careful, or I'll remotely control my wife and destroy you."
Although Su Rui didn't struggle, she was quick to criticize, speaking in a language Theresa couldn't quite understand, boasting about her abilities:
"Vehicles and other machinery are becoming increasingly electronic, and they will only become more so in the future. When that happens, I'll remotely blow you up with my phone. I'll give you an Apple phone, and then overload the pre-fragmented battery inside the metal casing, sending you flying into the sky!"
"Okay, okay, I hardly ever use a cell phone or anything like that. The Doctor and the others check my messages for me."
Theresa smiled slightly, opened Su Rui's door, and then led him inside.
Prince of Kazdel: 332 Take a Big Bite
"You'll be moving around the Babel all the time, and there's Rhodes Island, elevators, automatic doors—I don't believe you can completely avoid them."
Su Rui was still sulking with Theresa, but Theresa had already shifted her attention to something else. A smile appeared on her lips as she led Su Rui into the bedroom and drew back the curtains.
"We feel even happier when the sun shines brightly in the early morning, right?"
As she said this, Theresa pushed Su Rui down.
"Don't you feel ashamed to do such a thing under the sun? Don't you feel like you're being watched by others under the sunlight?"
Su Rui glared at Theresa with annoyance, but the Sarkaz Demon King ignored her completely, even smiling at Su Rui in response.
"That's why our union was accomplished in the presence of Kazdel, and indeed, all of Terra, isn't it?"
"You're hopeless." Su Rui rolled his eyes, but didn't say anything more. Instead, after Theresa pulled him into a duo queue, he tried to take the initiative.
"Su Rui, are you in a bit of a hurry? I'm the Demon King of Sarkaz, not so easy to deal with~"
"I'm not one to be trifled with either. Logically speaking, I'm much older than you. Shouldn't you show me some respect?"
"Respect requires a powerful background. Su Rui, right now, you're just my little darling with nowhere to escape."
